THAT was an interesting read :-)

Not at all. As soon as puberty hit, I was 135. At 13! All the rest of my family has never weighed more than this. I've seen what they eat. And I know their lifestyle. Their metabolic rate has to be higher, that's for sure. I must get the other family gene's :-P I'm currently 157. Not too much longer and I'll be back at…

I'd say try Chia seeds and increase water intake. This helps me tremendously with energy. And if you get the right Chia seeds there can be more fiber than carbs, so that is a plus. I use Australian grown. I can have some in the morning/afternoon and see so much energy. It has made such a difference for me.

I love veggies and fruits! Sooo, although I don't have huge portions of them each sitting, I have veggies in at least two meals out of my day, and fruit most often in one of my deals a day. Without them, I could not function. It's important to remember it's about net carbs, not just carbs. So it's often about which one's…

Thanks for sharing that :-) Some things to consider

This just shows to me how different body types makes a difference. My fiance is @ 12% and looks NOTHING like that. He is lean. I'm assuming its because he doesn't LIFT, but he plays sports. He's lean with some muscles, versus bulging with them.

Best response ever :-P

Did you just recently begin taking the magnesium? I only ask because magnesium is something I'm really supposed to watch, and right now I'm supplementing around 50-100mg extra (depending on how I feel that day) into my diet. But my medication...whats the best word, depletes my vitamins, so I have to make sure I'm consuming…

I too have had massive headaches before/during. And headaches are unusual for me.

Please, no Keto epilepsy argument. This occurs every single time I speak on the regular posts. :-I Hahaha, me and my mouth.

Completely understandable. As my doctor's described to me with my vegetarian diet, my body was requiring more energy and I couldn't maintain what I needed with what I was consuming. Like many diet's, what works for one, doesn't work for another. And yeah, they had recommended a lifestyle change with me watching sugar…

Oh dear, I know. That wasn't aimed toward you. But I'm just curious in general about the argument that lack of money contributes to how one eats. Fyi: - I grew up in poverty. I'm the overweight person in my family @ 5'5 and 158. Everybody else weighs no more than 130 - I was once a vegetarian for 2 years, and then a vegan…

http://www.cnpp.usda.gov/USDAFoodCost-Home.htm My household falls between the low cost and the low end of moderate cost plan from week to week. Now here is a whole new thread! What kind of diet are YOU on and WHERE do YOU fall? *insert evil smile here* ;-) This may help with the cost factor.

Reading through this thread makes me wonder how much my household spends on groceries versus the average...Hmmm, off to google!

Thanks for your response :-)

Good point. I don't believe it's dead. I think if a woman appreciates it and if both parties are actually open to it then it works, otherwise not . But some people don't want anything to do with it. Hate to say it, but I also think some people don't have enough respect for themselves for any of it anymore. To expect it/ to…

This. Exactly in the workplace. I get mostly odd looks, and comments about my food choices. I understand, I mean at least one person a day in the office is eating fast food, so we have entirely different food choices, but still, I don't comment on their food options. But...that's life. :-/

Congrats girls! I am getting married in August, you guys are welcome to add me :-)

When a man is actually a MAN. :-P -Confident -witty -supportive -not afraid of a successful, strong opinionated, woman - has goals, and passion for life. Oh and of course, physical attraction (but looks fade...). But of course, everything already mentioned helps with physical attraction, in the meantime, the behind, legs,…

Nope, you aren't the only one. Although my breast size has not increased, on most diet plans, that is the very first place I lose weight. While on Keto, I have lost it in my butt, thighs and abs first (in that order). My breast size has yet to change. Thank goodness, bras are expensive!

This. I was appalled with the results one time when I logged a lollipop. Needless to say, I haven't had one in awhile. I mean, you have to pick what to 'indulge in' and well...that lollipop put a LOT into perspective.

Hahaha, I just realized that was you! maybe that is why it makes me so cheerful, lol! Too funny! And agreed...that was...my goodness, dreadful :-P
-
Btw, OP, just so you know, I love your profile picture thing...everytime I see it, it cheers me up for some reason, its just cheerful. :-P
-
Yeah, I thought it was yolks for your hair and whites for your face....but I haven't tried any of this stuff since middle school sleepovers so I'm not a reliable source...mayyyy want to ask somebody else :-P Thanks for that though!

Thanks for posting that....many years from now, if my fiance and I do decide to have children, I've considered genetic testing beforehand, the first piece I'll probably add to my health file to reference at some point, even if only as a small medium.
-
Considering you will not stop, I see so. I had posted a link quoting another topic, giving credit to the OP, on how it works beforehand. I was not aware that this site only had one purpose. Quote myfitnesspal on facebook "MyFitnessPal is a free and easy nutrition and fitness system that helps anyone achieve good health.…

Hahah, no, dear me. If you read my previous post you saw I went to medical professionals...so how would you think this? No, nevermind.

Thank you. And unfortunately, since we are talking personal experience and each individual, I cannot speak on myself and results after a year for as I have not been on the diet for a year, and as well, weight loss is not my main goal. And I too agree, talking to a physician is of up most importance. Because then, well,…
