When my children were younger I would push them around town in a double stroller.. Just being out was a great stress reliever for me. I also joined a group and met other single parents who understood the demands too. Instead of emotional eating I know go to the gym. I figure that being in shape, energised and feeling good…

I'm 5'6 and my start weight was 142lbs back in September.. I have slowly reached my goal weight of 118lbs and am very happy with where I am now. I chose this goal weight because it was where I was happiest before having two babies. I feel comfortable and energised :)

It has taken me three months to lose 2lbs to finally reach my goal weight. I ate within my calorie allowance and workout three times per week. The last few lbs were painfully difficult to lose. There were weeks where I did not lose a fraction of a lb. keep going and stay determined.. That's all I've got :)

Wow you look so fit and in shape! I've just started running and it does feel addicting :)
-
I love how your hard work has paid off! Wonderful determination, well done!

Hi, I'm not sure when you can expect a flat tummy and thigh gap. I reached my goal weight and still don't have either! Embrace your body's changes... Mine has certainly improved but still have a lot of toning to do that has little to do with my weight on the scales..

It has taken me over six months to lose 20lbs.. It has been a very slow process despite watching my calorie intake and working out three times per week, I'm also a busy mom. Keep going. The persistence is what helped me finally reach my goal :)

I know your frustration! It has taken me three full months to lose 2lbs as I neared my goal weight...I stayed consistent with my deficit and worked out hard. You have to persist. Heavy lifting gives you a new strength focus and trying new ways to exercise also helped with the frustration. My goal weight was chosen because…

You look healthy and beautiful! Well done!

You show up to workout.. You are a winner every single day you choose to do that! I would be upset too, the lard has been motivating you.. You gotta find motivation where you can. Keep going and be your personal best. It will pay off in a confidence and pride that no board can bestow on you :)

You look wonderful! After two children my tummy held relentlessly to that fat too. It feels so good to lose it! Well done

Hi ladies, I'm 5'6 I'm at 118lbs now, down from 140. Stats.. Waist. 26' Hips 36' Upper thigh 21' I am pear shape so still have wobbly areas, but very happy to have reached my pal in 6 dedicated months :) Best of luck to everyone on their journey :)

Grab!

I couldn't agree more :)

Your frustration is valid... Everyone has areas where they hold fat and struggle to target My hips were the place where I held my excess weight, but I could cover the area with clothing etc until I slowly lost the weight. Keep going, see your goals and try to celebrate the losses you have made. I'm sure your face will slim…

That is very frustrating! It has taken me 6 months to get to goal weight. My starting weight was 140 and now I am 118lb. It has been slow and steady. I workout hard three times per week for one hour and rarely burn more than 350 calories so please be sure that your burn is accurate. I started at 1200 cals per day and…

You are beautiful! Those 12lbs lost have really transformed you already, well done :)

Cut back to one or two beers per night... Or even drink only at the weekends. Give it a try and see if it boosts your weightloss :)

I have been struggling to reach my goal since December... As I near my goal, weightloss has stalled. I upped my calories from 1310 to 1530 with a goal of .5lbs loss per week. This small increase has lead to a small weightloss in the past weeks. I totally believe a deficit is key but maybe a smaller deficit may help you…

Yes I can see a real difference! Well done

200 days here... I still feel like a novice!

I stay loosely on track during the weekends... I still log on here and remain mindful of my goals but its difficult to stay disciplined 7 days a week... Socialising and meeting friends at the weekends tends to revolve around food. I'm sure there are members stronger than me who will share their methods for sustaining…

You look amazing op, you should be confident in your skin! I'm also frustrated with clothes shopping..my size 12s are no longer an option. I am between a 10 and a 8 (UK)...10 feel loose and comfy but 8 look better but are uncomfortable. I have 1lb to go to goal and I hope that helps me settle into a size 8 :)

I think you look great, but satisfy yourself and reach a goal that you are comfortable with! I have been hearing similar comments and I am still determined to reach my personal goal... It's my journey :)

I'm entering maintenance too and will follow this thread :)

I can relate.. It's taken 5 weeks to lose .5lb and I fought so hard to achieve it! I am so close to goal now that I am enthusiastic to keep pushing. Great advice given already :)

I have only ever been an A cup... During my two pregnancies I stayed an A cup, I feel they suit my body type and I have never felt insecure about them. Embrace your body and work on the parts that you can improve!

It has taken me 1 month to lose .5lbs eating at a deficit and working out 3 times per week... It is incredibly slow! I would follow the advice to strength train. It has given my workouts a shake up and I have seen amazing results on this forum :)
