Could be plantar fascitiis. I suggest you start stretching your calf muscles several times a day, and always wear shoes with arch support - no going barefoot until it heals. I had this last year and it took 6 months to heal, but everyone is different. It is usually caused by tight calf muscles. Don't ignore it or it will…

This sounds good. I think I might have to try. Thanks for sharing!

Try the lower sugar instant if you are going to do instant. I eat this often (gasp) and it only has 5 grams of sugar and the same amount of fiber per serving as the old fashioned oats (or close to). I like low sugar maple and brown sugar. Your taste buds will adjust quickly. I can't do plain oatmeal quite yet either.

That is a tough one. Sometimes the "weight" subject is considered sensitive and maybe your husband's family was afraid to say anything. But, hey, we all want to hear "good job." So, GOOD JOB!! 46 lb lost is a fantastic job!!!! Just stay on course and I bet you will be getting lots of compliments in no time!! You are…

Been wondering about the banana. Glad to hear it is not on the list. Thanks for solving the mystery!

Very funny! And here I was worried about you for a sec there:bigsmile: Anyway, I am hardly an expert, but I like to hold the heavy balls:laugh: in both hands behind my head and then extend arms straight out, in front of me, cupping it (haha) at shoulder height, then repeat a million times for triceps. Then hold the ball…

****'s Sporting Goods store - carry all major brands: Nike, Addidas, Reebok, Under Armour. I like Addidas and Under Armour (think I spelled that right:) Target carries some less expensive brands that a lot of people seem to like. That is funny! They edited the name of the store! It is d--i-c-k'-s sporting goods. Not trying…

I have heard conflicting things about coffee too. I heard small amounts can increase metabolism, but I also heard that coffee will cause blood sugar levels to fluctuate which is bad when you are trying to lose weight. I know that for me personally, it does cause me to get shaky and I feel like I have to eat, but I still…

Do you think your hrm could be picking up readings from other hrm's? Hopefully it is just positive energy and anticipation of a great workout.
-
Yes, it definitely depends on your size and fitness levels. I bought a HRM so I would have a pretty accurate idea (love my Polar FT4!). As a point of reference, I am 5'5", 142 lbs. and I burn about 400-450 calories on the Month 1 workouts (about 540 on the Pure Cardio + Cardio Abs days). I am pushing pretty hard and take…

Great job doing Insanity! I have been loving it. I do not mean to be a downer at ALL, but my Polar FT4 HRM says I only burn a little over 300 calories each time I do Core Cardio and Balance. I am not saying yours isn't correct, it just sounds high to me (or maybe mine is low? hoping!) For reference, I am about 5'5", 142…

Oh yum! Thank you!!

Can you please tell me what a serving size is or how many servings this recipe makes? Thanks for sharing. Sounds yummy!
-
Thanks for sharing. It sounds delicious!! Will have to try it!

It suppresses for a short time for me, then has the opposite effect. It makes me shaky and gets my blood sugar out of whack to where I feel like I have to eat. I do regular in the a.m. then switch to decaf if I have more later. btw, you need to make yourself eat breakfast to get your metabolism going for the day!

Sounds yummy! Thanks!

Great job!! I can't wait to get mine - doing Recovery Week now and start Month 2 next week. I feel your pain. You should be very proud!!
-
I just finished Month 1 and did my first day of Recovery Week today. Starting Month 2 next week. I love Insanity!! (and also hate a little) lol It is intense and addicting. Best of luck to you!!! I am sure you will love it too! (and hate!) lol

I'm thinking you kicked some a$%! Great numbers! Great job!!

Maybe you will prove to be different, but it was my experience that going barefoot was a big no-no when I had pf. You need constant arch support in order for it to heal. Otherwise, it will just keep stretching/tearing. I wish you the best of luck in your healing! It is a slow process.

I am now drooling! Yummy!

I've had those! They are good when you need crunch or they are also good with peanut butter.

Well, I have refocused and made a fresh start today and SO CAN YOU!! I decided I did NOT want to gain any weight back or lose my momentum. I got up today, did my Insanity workout, 1/2 of another Insanity dvd, and am eating healthy and light for a few days to try to undo some of my damage of the last few days. YOU, too,…

You can do it! We will do it together! So tomorrow is a new day. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
