What other old myths, do you beleive MFP 'push' on people?
-
Well, if it wasn't so important to drink 2lt of water a day i.e. 8 glasses, then why is MFP advising us to do so? After all, the body is mainly made up of water, not coffee...as far as I know.

I grew up on Kefir, and it's good for the digestive system. It contains all the good bacterias, and therefore keeps the overall digestive system healthy. As for PCOS, I don't know. I didn't show any symptoms before my late 30's. Strenght training, and swimming probably helped me throughout my life, though. Who knows? It's…

The answer to all your questions, is yes, yes, and not now, because I'm recovering from years of excessive alcohol consumption, from when I was a student. It totally destroyed my physique.

:-) I Speak from personal experience as well. Just seems like I didn't have much of a childhood, because we did PE at school Lol In secondary school, we'd go swimming during PE. I even took up extra swimming lessons at this point :)

Different strokes for different folks

It's pretty much the same PE exercises we all learned as kids, at primary school. We had two hours :)

This is what I was getting at :) www.brianmac.co.uk/articles/article084.htm

No offence, but that's not quite it, either. I can't believe nobody knows the basics. Didn't anyone learn anything in PE? Lol

You need to strenghten your core muscles. Planks, squats, lifting and lots of other things, that I don't know the correct term for. (If, I could draw a picture, I'd show you). Anyhow, I developed fairly strong core muscles in my younger days, by swimming, dancing, walking, and pretending my naval could touch my spine, if I…

Wednesday- a 3 hour relaxed walk, well almost. I did a 200 step jog, until my skinny legs, had had enough. Approx 660 kcal.

So, which Rugby League team do you support?

Makes a change from the 'Why are you fat' post.

It's a bit chilly today, so I spent some time on the stationary bike. A couple of hours = 1545 kcal. Very environmental friendly :) Also, note that I've lost 1kg, since I started this challenge three weeks ago. I'm very pleased :)

Polo is a performance sport. A lot of hard training, goes into it, and speed is paramount. Lean and mean, is the key. It's considered, a royal sport in England, much favoured by prince William, and Harry. Water polo, is a derivative. Anyway, here's how. www.waterpoloplanet.com/HTML_Mike_pages/mr01_Strength_Training.html

Resistance training is just as efficient in water as it is on land. I suggest you search on Google, as There's some epic ways to increase overall bodytone. Failing that, have you thought about aquatics?

I'm on my third week, challenge, and I have a confession to make. I felt pretty awful, after the 45 min. CobraFIT class last week, and to be honest I'm not cut out for it yet. Instead, I'll just plod on with what I know, I can do. And here it is: 315 kcal x 3 doing lifts, and squats. Equivalent to 3, 15min sessions. 310…

What's the catch?

General rule: 10-15 min warming up, before a work out, and 10-15 min cooling down, after a work out.

Be careful with rice. Rice, should be eaten freshly cooked. As for veg, it's better to freeze, as it keeps for longer. I don't even use a fridge, as everything I cook, prepare, is eaten instantly.

Nobody makes comments about my weight, as I distribute it fairly well...well, not untill yesterday at work, that is. Have noticed you're getting bigger. Are you planning on loosing weight? he asked.
