It's not all about losing. The exercise should be part of your daily life, to keep you healthy, in body and mind. I love logging my daily activities, and keep myself accountable by joining groups on MFP. I have gone from 30 min a day to over 6 hours. My weekly burns, total to anything from 3500 kcal to 7000 kcal. I'd hate…

Get an aquarium. I live in an apartment block, and we're not allowed to keep pets. A dog barked in one of the flats, and the following week, we all received a letter reminding us all, to quickl y remove the pet, or face eviction. It's a good rule to have, as no cat or dog, should be confined to a couple of rooms. It's…

WTG! Keep the belt to show to your friends :drinker:

A varied diet, is important for a healthy lifestyle. My protein intake is 70-100g a day. Carbs are usually twice the amount, sometimes more. Coconut water/tomatoes, onions, and spinach are used almost daily. I generally don't think about it, but maybe, I should.

Except cake

Thank you. This site is great, and has helped me a lot. Some groups, on here are very supportive. Lol knowing my luck, the internet will probably crash now, or something :explode:

I tend to eat pizza with Mozarella, and add my own toppings. A thin and crispy 12'' will usually be about 850 kcal, and at £2 is excellent value. I'd save a fortune, if I ate pizza every day

Before I joined MFP, I lived on £6 a week/less than £1 a day. That's about 12 dollars a week. In the last year, I've worked very hard to get healthy again. I now spend about £2 a day, sometimes more, to make sure I get a varied combination of nutritious food. Today, I ate out, and spent £2.95 and had a coffee for 99 pence…

I alternate my breakfasts, but milk/eggs is a source of protein, and would definitely be in. I aim to get 70-100g of protein a day.

The waist can be measured at the point where you bend. I need to bend slightly to the side, in order to find the point using a measuring tape (my under bust measurement, are an inch smaller, but this doesn't count).

I've only ever logged in advance a couple of times. My life is not that predictable, and I ended up having to change the meals and snacks, at the end of the day. Thus, giving me more logging to do. Not my favourite passtime. My days are very varied, and I rarely eat anything twice in the same week, as I'm always trying new…

For the first six months, everything in the MFP food data was incorrect. I had to correct every single food item, I logged. It was a total nightmare. A year later, I'm correcting food items at least three times a week. In UK, there's not as many members, and they're just lazy in logging food items. I should get a wage, for…

A 'person' can not be identified to be 'genuine' in the cyberworld. In other words, 'Don't believe everything you read'.

Welcome! I'm sure you'll find a group on MFP to support your lifestyle. Good luck :)

Nice to see a girl techie for a change. Make sure you have some copyright/patent protection for your design. Would be a damn shame to lose this calculator to a pirate-techie.

You do know that wearing high heels, don't help

Would be popular at school, I'd imagine.

And, I always worry when the OP, has de-activated.

Same here, but I thought I had to add my bit, just to defend this site. MFP is designed as an aid for people who wants to make a change in their life i.e. loose weight, gain weight, maintain, keep fit. I think the number of groups, on MFP is a sure indication of how successful MFP is, in its mission.

Volunteered as a marshall last year. Motivated, me to get out of bed on a Sat morning :)

Use it in cooking. It's what Korma Curries, are based on. Can't see how anyone could enjoy drinking it, unless it was fresh.

Eat fat. It's not rocket science.

Welcome to MFP! There are groups for women who lift, on MFP. I suggest you check them out for correct advice. Good luck :)

Take a reality check. 1. What made you put on weight? 2. What action is needed? 3. Short term goals. 4. Long term goals. 5. What are the risks? 6. What are the benefits? I know this is like a SWAT analysis, but it works for me. Good luck! :)

Alcohol speeds up the ageing process, contrary to various world governments desperate marketing tactics to prove different.

Hei.

I find food threads incredible boring, but I think your response was highly unappropriate, to this thread. In other words, not necessary.
