I've been shift work as a nurse for a year now. I work 12 hour shifts and I never stress if I don't work out on those days. What I am getting at here is when I start adding in these extra calories should I be focussing on adding more meat? Or should I consider adding milk, grains, nuts, etc? Is there one thing (other than the obvious, food) that I am really lacking?
