Tried to get them to show up for you! Amazing change, hon!

Oh, wow, this would be eerie. "Ok, no worries. Will see you tomorrow, then =) Drive safe! Love you xx"

Hi everyone!!! How very proud I am of all of you guys, and how pleased I am to have been a part of this awesome group! Boulevard and I are in the process of organising the next group (a 60 dayer this time - with the finish just in time for us southerners to fit into smaller sized winter clothes and just in time for you…

Hi, I'm a teacher from Canberra on her 100th day here on MFP. Feel free to add! =)

Hey guys. The next challenge is in the works!!! Just waiting to hear back from our other current mods, but I'm definitely in! Will post when we are all in agreement, but I'd be happy with a 60 day challenge this time. Any other ideas?

Well, my news is less than fantastic this week. After a month of ongoing struggles, dizzy fits and BP issues, the cause of my illness has finally presented itself after my back broke out in familiar and much hated blisters over the weekend - yep, I have shingles again! Battling through the exhaustion, nerve and joint pain…

I'm a coeliac, as well as being lactose and yeast intolerant. Been on elimination pretty strictly for 4 years. Feel free to add me! =)

NSV: The realisation that, through stressful times, I never once felt inclined to give up or allow myself to spiral. Every day was a battle there for a while, but the knowledge that THIS time was the time I succeeded allowed me to go "Bad day, try again.... Good day, yay!.... Bad day, try again..... try again..... yay....…

Hi guys, Bad week again - my father rather suddenly had to be admitted to hospital a week ago, and there were all kinds of bad decisions made during the week as I scrambled to get down to my mum (who can't be alone for too long due to medical issues that put her at serious risk of a fall). Chips and lollies and soft drink,…

Weighed in late this week. Saturday was absolutely my worst binge day since starting this journey (seriously, ridiculous) and weigh in yesterday was devastating - back up by 2.5kg. Today, after a few days back on track, and I'm back to only 0.3kg above last weeks weigh in. Have my cousins wedding on Saturday, so hoping to…

My dear and darling Morzolas - you are a treasure! Thanks so much for stepping up to be the main support for the group these last few weeks. Congrats on your loss and keep up the positive attitude! OK, peeps, I'm back. Finally, we seem to be on the right track to figuring out what's going on with me health-wise, as I…

Eggplant. Don't know why I'm so obsessed with it at the moment, but it is a rare day that it's not on the menu.

Awwww, miss you too! It's so much harder when work gets back into full swing and everyone's flat out. How've you been?
-
Dude, no matter how slow you go, you're still lapping everyone on the couch. Take it slowly, walk the rooms of your house at first if you need to, eat WELL (not just within your calories) and take it from someone who's been there - this is possible, this is necessary, this is good. Good luck, my friend!!!

Bread. I always say "I'll just keep a loaf in the freezer for when I'm really short on time" and end up eating it twice a day. Grrr! Just can't have it in the house =(

In my head, I've looked exactly the same for the last 10 years, even though my weight had fluctuated by 30kg. It surprises me to see pics where I'm much smaller, surprised me when I saw pics at my heaviest, and I struggle to see differences now that I'm in the middle of those two weights. I think, for me at least, the…

Hi all, As promised, I'm here and organised. This week was a good one, though I am still struggling a tad psychologically with this journey. This is the first time I've ever seen sustained and substantial losses and the panic response keeps kicking in, getting dealt with, dissipating, then returning a few days later. In…

YAY!!!!! :drinker: Congrats! Nice work meeting your goal, hon! :flowerforyou: So glad to see you broke through the plateau! Will post mine a bit later today - Need to take a photo, but too lazy to get out of bed!

I think it would have to do with swelling more than actual loss of foot size. I know that, when I'm carrying more weight, my feet swell and splay. When I'm lighter, they don't swell as much and don't splay as much, so they seem smaller. Make sense? But, as the other ladies have pointed out - SHOE SHOPPING!!!

Put on a dress today, and smoothed it down to get rid of the wrinkles, and realised that my stomach is no longer as protruding as it has been. Went and looked at myself in the mirror and actually liked the way the dress looked on - it's a rare day when I like the way anything looks on! Also, was skyping with my mama…

LOL. I don't log all my exercise - I do over 10,000 steps daily in my life as a teacher, and will sometimes race students up and down stairs (yeah, yeah, OH&S and all that - it makes them oddly happy, and gives me exercise) during recess and lunch. If I go over, though, I will log some of the unlogged exercise. Also,…

Thank you, darling xx :flowerforyou:

Awww, thanks honey! Considering how grumpy I was the last few weeks, I'm very glad to hear that I'm still helping somewhat! The last few pounds are always the hardest - your body jealously guards them as 'stores in case of famine'. Could be that working on weights to convert the mass to muscle rather than lose it…

I love clothes NSVs!!! That moment when you go "oh, wow, I remember when this..." is such a boost! Go you!

My NSV for today: Just came home in a grump because I couldn't do my swim due to a tummy blah (IBS, you heartless b****h! I was looking forward to that swim!!!:frown: ). As I stomped around my apartment in a huff, I realised that I'd done 50 minutes in the gym already (2.5km at 5km/hr on the treadmill, 16 minutes on the…

Sounds like everyone else has this all covered. I'll second the statement about "Granny coming down from the North" - I gain 2kg (like clockwork) 12 hours before she starts and it stays until 24 hours after it ends. Then, it drops down to whatever weight I actually am, including any loss that I've had. Hang in there,…

Love your attitude, darling!

My 3.9km on the treadmill and stationary bike this morning meant that I have officially biked, walked and jogged my way to 100km since the start of January!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lateness this week - it's been a crazy week for me, but I'm FINALLY in my new apartment and ready to start my new job tomorrow. I did not eat the best this week, even if I managed to stay under cals most days, and I am feeling it in the way my body holds itself. It was also my TOM this week…

Awesome, hon!! Thanks for the post - I'm still a tad uncertain about what the best thing is, but will get there. =)
