  • So tomorrow is my big 3-0! Plus it's my "golden birthday"! Turning 30 on the 30th! Tonight is my party/outing and I'd certainly like to have a couple drinks! :drinker: I know none of it can be good for your diet, but come on! I'M TURNING 30! Anyone have any suggestions besides lite beers? I'm normally a Smirnoff…
  • those are the BEST workouts! :drinker: :flowerforyou:
  • whew! thanks! i'm still just a tad under my calories and have lost 1 pound this week, so i guess i'm doing okay! Joi67 is right about the Diet V8 Splash! Those are good, too!

  • correct! at least, according to my specialist, i've always been told vitamin K is not necessary besides what we get from the food we eat. i get dvt's because of a lupus anticoagulant and antiphospholipid in my blood, so i have to take coumadin(blood thinner). there have been times when they've thinned it too much and i had…

  • I say....whichever says you weight the least, is the RIGHT one! I have the weight watchers digital scale here at home, but every time I visit the dr, I weigh about 4 pounds heavier there. But any scale I've ever owned always said I weighed less than the dr's scale. Darn doctors!

  • Welcome and good luck! :flowerforyou:
  • Best of luck, stick with it!! I hate stepping on that scale and not seeing any results. My greatest motivation comes from seeing that scale move. Preferably downward!
  • I guess I should have clarified, haha. I didn't mean maintain weight the whole time, basically just gain pregnancy/baby weight rather than several extra pounds is what I meant! Thanks so much guys! :flowerforyou:
  • I'm just wondering if anyone here has conceived while they were trying to lose weight? My husband and I are trying to conceive again, yet I'm also trying to get in shape and lose weight. Was just wondering if it's feasable to be able to maintain weight and get in shape while pregnant? Has anyone else been through this??
  • I know you've received lots of replies, but I get them, too. Here is what helps me in addition to stretching before a workout. Walk for 30 seconds on your heels at a slow pace. Then 30 seconds on your toes at a slow pace. This will also help stretch and warm the muscle beforehand!
  • is it too late for me to join?
  • Karen, best of luck! I'm hoping this site helps me out as well. It definitely puts everything into perspective and that's what I need! (((HUGS))) :flowerforyou:

  • SOOO-I need all the support I can get! My husband and I lost our baby(stillbirth) in December. Sadly enough, I'd put on 20 pounds from the pregnancy and I'm still trying to lose it, UGH! I'm finally in the mindset to get in shape and stay there! I've hardly ever exercised in my life! Three weeks ago, I started working out…
