I also have pcos and am insulin resistant. I also do high fat/low carb. It really isn't that hard and there are lots of great recipes out there. I have found eating out fairly easy also. I have two grown sons who live at home and they eat basically what I do but bigger portions and more carb sides.

I have tried all three flavors. Banana is my least favorite. The vanilla bean is good but the key line is my favorite.

My sons eat what I eat. I am also the meanest mommy ever, but they actually are enjoying it. We eat out less and I am cooking more. Since I am watching calories and carbs, I sometimes will add a heavy carb side for them.

I made these tonight also. I cut back on the amount of sugar as it didn't need that much. I made half the batch with pecans like the recipe suggested and the other half with chocolate chips (I have one son who doesn't like nuts). The recipe is a real keeper! I am going to try her banana nut recipe also.

Neither, I make my own using dough from the deli. That way my sons can have theirs with whatever they want and I can do a pizza topping casserole.

Went to Trader Joes at lunch and most of their pumpkin stuff is in. Picked up the Pumpkin Spice Cookie Butter to try. Noticed a lot of other things also.

Woohoo, successful short trip to Trader Joes during lunch. Most of their pumpkin stuff is in so I can try the Pumpkin Soice Cookie Butter. I was running low on good cheese at home so I also picked up some Gruyere and some of their English Cheddar with Caramelized Onions.

Beef stir fry with broccoli, onions and peppers with a sauce of low sodium soy sauce and Thai Chili Garlic sauce. Served with rice for those who want it.

I have always drank diet soda. I try to limit it to one a day (sometimes two). As for pasta I have cut it out almost entirely for me. I still cooks it for my sons.

I have been losing weight just fine without exercising. Fact is it slowed down a little since I started doing treadmill at the gym the middle of August. Powerful yogurt is awesome, I especially like the Key Lune but the Vanilla Bean is awesome toads stuff to. They also make smoothies that I haven't tried yet but want to.

1000caliries is way low. Women are recommended to go to a minimum of 1200. Depending on how much you have to lose you may even be allowed more.
