  • Hi there, I'm on the short side as well. 5'1". Would you mind opening your food diary to public? People can give more specific advice if you open it. Are you logging absolutely everything accurately, meaning using a food scale instead of just measuring cups? I was shocked at how far off I could be using just measuring cups…
  • I've lost almost 30 pounds since Christmas without the gym. I have a couple DVDs, a step, and a little step machine I bought at Target. I also have some hand weights. I'm at a point now though, that I either should join a gym or invest in home weights. That's because I want to get stronger though, and not for additional…
  • Babies and nursing babies. I ate because I was so freakin hungry while pregnant. I never stopped "eating for two" until I was done nursing. Food is so yummy.
  • I do pretty much the same. I am still aware of my intake though. I could blow an entire week's deficit in one day if I really went wild.
  • So true...sigh
  • I had gotten pretty lax on working out and logging every bite for a bit. Last week was so much better. This week my goal is to keep that going. I'm only about 2.5 away from goal.
  • I completely understand. I always have a bit of anxiety getting rid of things. One idea is to box up the bigger clothes, label and date them. When you haven't touched them in a year, donate the box(es) without looking inside. No sentiment involved and then you obviously won't need them anymore. Good luck!
  • I'm currently wrestling over the same question. I'm a SAHM of 3 kids aged 6 and under, so I'm busy. I don't sit down much until the kids are in bed around 8pm, 30-60 minutes in the afternoon, dinnertime, and 20 minutes here and there in the car. I set my activity to active, but am wondering if I'm correct. I am running…
  • Me too. I've gotten some great food ideas from MFP friend's diaries. Mine is public. For me, I'm ok with sharing it. I think it does help keep me honest. It's much easier to lie to myself than other people.
  • I don't typically count cleaning, but I accounted for it in my activity level. Being with little kids all day, I stay pretty active. I have counted more intense stuff, like cleaning out the garage including moving huge bags of mulch and such (well huge to me ;) ).
  • I was never able to lose weight and keep up my supply while breastfeeding. I actually didn't bother to try to lose weight between baby 1 and 2. I tried to lose after baby #2, but ended up struggling between supply dips and no progress for months. Once I weaned her, the weight came off much more easily. I really didn't even…
  • I'm 5'1" and wore an 8 at 137 lbs. I'm currently about 110 and a size 2.
  • Babies. I ate and ate when pregnant with my first, then used nursing as an excuse to eat all the food. Then I knew I would have another baby, so no reason to kill myself working out to lose weight just to put it on again, right? Rinse and repeat. Anyway, I'm done with babies and on my way to fit now. My biggest struggles…
  • Tried this tonight with mozzarella instead, yum! This one will make it into regular rotation. The kids even ate it.
  • I second getting a bunch of snacks for both kids. Also set up easy to grab baggies of necessities. It is so hard to reach your bag under the seat with a baby in your arms. Set up a small easy to grab diaper changing pack so you wont be fumbling around trying to reach the diaper bag while holding baby. I personally set up…
  • I'm 5'1" and currently 114. My goal weight is 107, but I'm not as concerned about getting there anymore. I'm focusing more on body fat %. I'm currently at 25.9 % per my scale and hoping to bring that down. My first goal is 25% and I'll re-evaluate. Focusing on bf% instead of weight is new for me, do I'm not sure just what…
  • I'm 5'1" and currently 113.5-116. My goal right now is 107, I'm 35 and I have a small frame. In my late 20s I weighed 98, which was too small. 105-107 will be great, but these last pounds are tough. My highest was 137, but I got down to 112 before getting pregnant with the last kiddo (he's 1 year old).
  • Isn't this "trial" irrelevant since they changed the formula in 2013? Also, 8 people don't make a reliable study. I suggest supplement geek .com for a breakdown of the ingredients, new and old formula.
  • There are a ton of plexus slim blogs and Facebook pages that might be better geared for support for their product. I'm not meaning to be snarky, really. Most people here seem to be working on healthy lifestyle changes to be fit for the long haul. Quick fixes like Plexus and so many others don't fall into that. Stick…
  • I have done quite a bit of research actually. Please point me to something that proves this stuff works that is NOT a testimony or from an ambassador or the company. I would really enjoy reading it.
  • I have many friends taking Plexus. Most have not lost ANY weight. Those that have are losing at an extremely slow pace (think 4 pounds in 3 months) or are actually changing their lifestyle to eat less and be more active. When they first began the drink, and pills, and probiotic, and biocleanse...am I leaving anything…
