Actually, it does work. I used it a couple of years back for 30 to 45 mins a day for a month and i shed about 5 lbs. It's just that I find it safer to work out at home rather than walk at night in my neighborhood.

By the way, it's called a stepper. :)

Thanks! Actually it has its own calories burned counter, however I don't find it very accurate as it doesn't take my weight into consideration . If anyone knows how I should be logging this workout, pls. reply. I won't be able to buy a decent HRM anytime soon so I'm just gonna have to rely on MFP at the moment.

We are the same! It feels like my arms are going to give up any moment during the side lunges with arm lifts. And I'm also doing push ups anita-style. Hopefully our arms get stronger as we progress. We can do it! :D

Meeeeee! Count me in. :)

Also I want to make it clear that I am from a country where most girls are small/petite.

I'm really flabby in all places and it's becoming very noticeble even though I am tall. To be honest, I do realize that I am really the biggest/tallest girl in our group. But they don't have to constantly rub it in especially now that I am doing something about it. By the way, I also computed for my BMI and it says 26.63…

I also have exercise-induced asthma but only suffer from it when running. So I just mostly stick to walking and other cardio exercises.

Thank you for all the responses. Maybe that's my problem, I sometimes laugh along at their jokes even if they hurt just to show them that I can handle their teasing. But sometimes it gets to a point that it's too much, and I just roll my eyes at them. Maybe I'll have to stop talking about my diet and just act on it quietly.

Wow, congratulations! That's a lot of weight. You motivate me to reach my goal.

Really tempting as i was used to eating a whole can of Pringles just by myself in one sitting. Or a big can of Pik-Nik. Or 1 pint of ice cream, or a big chocolate bar. But I'd like to think that those days are gone now. I will no longer succumb to binge eating, but rather I will eat only a small portion of junk every now…

I'm also 5'7" and weigh 170lbs. Well 169 since I lost a pound over the week. Maybe you need to change your routine to get over the slump or lessen your calorie intake by 100? Good luck, and I will add you. :)

Super wow! Amazing results. How long before you reached this figure?

I meant to quote this.

This is my motto. I love it! I love all the inspirations! ♡

You're looking great at 165lbs! We have the same amount of lbs to lose. Let's do this. :)

Wow! I'm also 5'7". So this is approximately how I would look at my goal weight of 130lbs! Can't wait for this to happen to me. :) I'm currently at 169lbs and I am so flabby. Congratulations on your transformation. Everybody looks amazing, btw. :)

When it started to get difficult for me to bend and cross my legs, that's how I knew I needed to start losing weight. I just started this month by signing up to MFP, counting my calories and I just did the 30 day shred challenge this morning. Reading success stories and seeing before and after pictures keep me motivated to…

Would sure love to see myself 20lbs slimmer. That would be a great Christmas gift for myself. 30 lbs would be even better. Just have to eat in moderation during the holiday season and exercise. Hoho!

Oh yeah, I've been called chubby and fat a lot of times. I am 5'7" tall and weigh 170 lbs but i am now classified as overweight. It hurts me that even people I care about call me those names "matter-of-factly". My mom does that often to push me to start losing weight. I have called her off more than once for it, telling…
