Hi, Sent you a friend request! I'm only 27 but I kind of feel well over 30- Been single for about a year after 10 years mostly in a kind of destructive relationship and preparing to make my 30's the best and happiest; doing things for me, my happiness, self identity and the whole career change thing - becoming a personal…

Hiya and welcome! My tips and advice would be follow the tips and advice of your PT as that's what they trained and are qualified for. There is so much misinformation out there, no matter how well meaning and too many cooks can spoil the broth! I'm kind of biased though ;) Welcome aboard and feel free to add :)

Personality for a one night stand? Nah gotta be all looks, no personality... total moron.

I've trained barefoot for years in the martial arts. There is a great deal to be said for the bio mechanics of the foot. Barefoot training itself shouldn't cause injury as much as unsupervised, one size fits all dvd exercise programmes do. Look at it this way; we are all different shapes and sizes and have different…

^This, re: the research^ I rang the charity, just to check about the length, fully expecting to just go out the next day and chop it all off. I had to grow out my layers first. Even then I still fund raised for another charity just in case (£600 and I have no friends haha). Totally do it for yourself, and you can't suggest…

What do I do with cocoa? ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Think my favorite is porridge, cocoa porridge goes so good with other things too; banana, coconut, cherries and almonds. I put cocoa in pizzerts, and also makes a great cheesefakecake (you know the ones made with greek yoghurt and tofu? fibreone/allbran base, nom), cocoa…

On a treadmill or elliptical/cross trainer you are still generally performing the same movements, and it is the intensity that varies and so you can give a more reliable calorie burn estimate based upon the speed at which you are moving. A kettlebell is much more versatile; an upright row is not going to burn as much as…
-
That's because a kettlebell is a piece of equipment and not an exercise, so calorie burn depends entirely on what you are doing with it. It would be like putting "barbell" or "medicine ball" into the database.

Feel free to add me too. Jamie Eason is my girl crush

@Ironsmasher this is pretty much what I have tried to say, but I think the above post sums it up in that, maybe it isn't what you say, it's how you say it. People are finally understanding that going out and getting smashed every weekend conflicts with my lifestyle because I've said repeatedly and with meaning. But when it…

Best advice I ever heard "if you could buy results and not work for them, Oprah wouldn't be fat"

Sounds like my kinda girly! Request sent :)

I'm not really sure how body fat relates to gastrointestinal discomfort??? Firstly, her body fat looks fairly low. Secondly, I range between 17-20% bf, I'd say that's fairly low either way. But whatever bodyfat % I have, it doesn't effect bloating (bloating as in hard belly gas, not water retention) caused by IBS or food…

Sometimes it may be difficult for family to get used to how you look after you have lost some weight, especially if you have been heavier for a longer period of time, and they can make confusing comments like that. The BMI chart is a good guideline (you will hear it has it's errors I'm sure, but it's a pretty good point of…

Thanks for sharing! Glad I'm not the only one they bug!

ah cosmo, what a fountain of knowledge. Think I once read in cosmo "Big night out? for a flat stomach by tonight, drink nothing but dandelion tea" then go out drinking? and I won't get dehydrated? wow, seems legit. Agree with the above post; you need a balanced resistance programme full stop. In terms of lifting your…
