i havr bcbs and didn't have a supervised diet restriction, but my surgeon made me lose a certain pecentage of my body weight before surgery. he did make me follow a liquid only diet for a week before surgery, which was the hardest part. i followed the ketogenic diet during my 6 months prior to surgery to lose almost 50 lbs…

I eat 70+ g protein/day, 15g carbs/day. I walk for an hour daily, and work out with a trainer 3x/week. I am measuring my food religiously. I am not asking for advice or solutions from people, just calorie counts out of curiousity.

At 4 months out, how many calories per day were you aiming for? I am 5'4, 215 lbs.

i like iwon protein chips in ranch (i buy them at wegmans) or health wise brand protein chips in ranch, bbq, and pizza flavors (which i order on netrition). i keep those around for times when i want a treat. the quest protein chips were so weird to me. they had no crunch!

hi all! i was sleeved on 4/3/17. highest weight: 292, sleeved weight: 257, current weight: 210. my surgeon wants me to start seeing a personal trainer to help me lose faster. i'd rather be a slow loser than a gainer!

mine sounds like a creaking basement door!

i'm having similar issues with losing weight eating 50-60g carbs per day. today i start trying to keep the carbs under 20g per day and increasing my fat intake. i also suspect i'm eating too much protein, which is causing a slight increase in muscle, but not in weight loss yet.

i'm not sure exactly why, but this old post might be helpful. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/956389-insulin-resistance-and-how-to-combat-it

PB2, mini chocolate chips and a small dash of himalayan (pink) sea salt - it makes it taste like a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie!
