Pole dance, aerial silks, static trapeze, fire hoop dancing, hoop dancing. :)

I love you.

omg I'm from there. Copperas Cove actually. :) Don't live there anymore though...Navy took me elsewhere. :(

Abs are made in the kitchen. Getting abs is 80% diet 20% workout. Then again 95% of all statistics are made up on the spot, lol. But, You can do crunches until you are blue in the face: you HAVE to get rid of that fat covering your abs. I've discovered eating a ton of veggies and doing HIIT helps. I replaced all of my…

Latley every strength move and every weight I lift I think of trapeze/aerial silks because I am taking trapeze/aerial silks classes. Each movement makes me that much stronger to do cool tricks. :)

Exactly what I was going to say. I've noticed that when I got rid of all the other crap and did veggies and fruit **only** for snacks (sometimes lunch) I was able to break through. Also I didn't check, but are you drinking enough water?

Stealing this idea for tommorow. :) :) :)

Oh, I should have mentioned, I can't eat anything heavy in Vitamin K, so that cuts out salads. I am on blood thinners.
-
Fage greek yogurt on non-strength days, muscle milk on strength days. :)

If you can buy one book, buy You are your own gym. it shows you how to get workouts out of stuff around your house. They work, cause I am sore as hell afterwards.

Don't feel bad. I'm an outcast too. Still the weirdo kid that watches X-Files and plays with a hula hoop. Cept these days it has fire on it. :) :):)

I step on the scale every day but only log the results on Fridays.

For 5$ a month e-mealz has a low carb plan that gives you 5 meals and a shopping list at the store you choose. I do the low fat plan and love it. I also love how much money I save on dinner meals.....35-40 for 5 meals. They have sample menus on their website if you want to try first.

HIIT. (High intensity interval training) You have to burn the fat that is there to get nice abs. You can do crunches until you are blue in the face, but it won't do any good if there is still fat there.
-
Buy a Heart Rate monitor to truly know how many you are burning.
-
They sell low sodium lunchmeats at the store, I beleive. I also do a bag of those steam vegetables....easy to prepare, low on cals.

Ah ha, I am the right person for this. Mimosa, EDiT, Glitch Mob, Bassnectar, Pantyraid, Beats Antique (For more tribalish) Chemical Brothers, Swedish House Mafia, Tycho, Phunk Mob. Search for anything trance, techno, dubstep, bass, etc. It's all I listen to.

Hey hon. I am 5'7 and my goal weight right now is actually 140. :) Just start with basic goals, say of 140, and when you reach that goal reevaluate how you feel. :)
-
omg eat fruit!! Do you eat your exercise cals? You may need to bump up and does some high intensity interval training or zig zag calories.
-
lol sound slike my weekend. I had one of those veggie steamable bags and two veg burgs. Not a vegetarian by the way, just don't eat enough veggies. :)

************************************I am not a doctor, I just know from experience. I used to do this. How much are you binging before you go work out? How long are your workouts usually? Very very important. I am asking because I was an exercise bulimic. I would eat, feel horrible, then go immediatley to burn it off. it…

You aren't doing too much from a numbers standpoint. Too much would be 4-5 hours a day, 7 days a week. I know because I used to do that, but it was exercise bulimia. The best way to know if you are doing too much is to see how you feel. If you are constantly tired or sore, it may be time to take a break from it. Rest days…

Awesome post!! Thanks for sharing. Just this morning I was thinking 'I am too F*in old to be playing around on a trapeze...' This story and the quote at the bottom made me change my mind: Whether you think that you can, or that you can’t, you are usually right.

Love. :) Thanks for the reminder. It makes me think of what I am doing....do I want to do this for the rest of my life? This is how I chose to not do weightloss smoothies or no carbs...there is no way I could do that for the rest of my life. I wanted something that I would be able to do over my whole life. :)

Excellent point about the swim. It is a bit easier on the body but you have to be prepared to do it; i.e. train ahead of time. Don't just expect to jump in the pool and swim it quick...I've seen lots of people fail that way.
-
Been there done that, bro. I was glad to finally get a waiver to stop doing the PRT. It's a stupid test anyways. How long did you get convo leave for? lol btw I'm AG2 stationed in MS.

The easiest thing to do is to stick with one set number and ignore the rest. Heck, don't even look elsewhere because you will confuse yourself even more. Once you start looking more and more into it, you are going to get different answers. I found that I always had different numbers on different scales (I have two in the…

Copied this from a blog post I did awhile ago...I hate typing a lot. :) My lowest weight was 120. I acheived this over 3 years ago after becoming an exercise bulimic. I sat on the borderline of underweight and normal before one of my supervisors stepped in and threatened me with losing my career (I'm in the NAVY and LOVE…

if you can spare $5 a month, I highly reccomend e-meals. They have food plans and include a shopping list. The total cost of the food varies somewhat depending on what you want....they have low fat, low carb, gluten free, etc. I use the low fat plan right now and for 5 days of dinner it costs me 45-50 bucks. Check them out…

Yep, I've had that happen. I think people just want to have something to complain about so others will pay attention to them and feel sorry for them. MFP isn't an 'easy fix' for people. They just want to be slim for summer or what not. If it's not about changing your life and your ways, don't even bother. Grrr now you got…
