  • E-Mealz. 5 bucks A month. Saved me over 300 dollars a month on grocery bills and hours planning meals and looking for recipes. Gives you a menu and a shopping list for dinner for an entire week. Have choices such as carb free, veggie, fat free, low fat, etc. I tend to substitute organic items for the items they suggest, if…
  • I had the same problems you described in the first paragraph, but I use e-mealz. I couldn't envision myself doing something like nurtisystem. It's a $5 a month service that gives you your menu and shopping list for an entire week. You can choose carb free, fat free, low fat, vegetarian, etc. Saved me tons of money on…
  • Hit the nail on the head.
  • It was always recommended to me to wear warm clothing that you can remove later. Take a light jacket, one that you don't really care to lose, and while you are running if you get too warm you can always remove it and toss it to the side. In the races I've run I've seen plenty of people do it and have done it myself. If you…
  • Totally doing this next week when mine visits. Great advice! :)
  • That's almost 4 hours a day, lincluding any othe rmovement and such you do inbetween those hours. To me that's a lot. But as others have said, how do you feel after them? Are you tired or find yourself getting sick easily? Listen to your body; it will tell you how much too much is. I only ask the hours because I was a…
  • How many cals do you normally burn in a day with exercise? And how long typically are your workouts?
  • E-Mealz. hands down, no contest. You can choose your plan (veggie, fat free, gluten free, carb free, etc.) It gives you a weekly dinner menu, plus a shopping list of what to buy. I highly reccomened it. It's 5 bucks a month, but my food bill dropped dramatically when I started using it. Just google e-mealz. Greasted five…
  • Grrr you stole my netflix thunder. ;)
  • You know, I love the polypro but I have been going back to my old black tubing hoops to learn new tricks and try to even out my flow a bit. lately I have been working on the horizontal elbow pass and the doll thing they had on hooping.org. Oh and I'm trying to nail the vertical shoulder duck out...there are no tutorials…
  • I have another poly through superhooper!! Did you see they have colored poly pro now?!?!?! omg I want!
  • Also amazing!!! I'm just partial to Christy. cause she made me my poly pro. ;)
  • I sure do. :) I hoop dance actually. For you to lose any weight, you would have to do it for up to eight hours a week. Hoop dance burns about 210 every thirty minutes. It contains a lot more moves besides hopping at the waist, but it is more fun and kind of a challenge to learn the tricks. Check out my videos on you tube:…
  • omg I have to share this. :0 It's not a cat, but it is funny and true about animals eating too much table scraps. Also watch the rest of simons cat videos...they are too funny! http://www.youtube.com/user/simonscat?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/9/NQCwHluBqFc
  • What is your calorie intake like?
  • As a chronic ankle sprainer I say take it easy. You can make it worse and even fracture it, which will put you out even longer. I've sprained mine 8 times (The most recent time 4 weeks ago), and each time it gets harder and harder to heal because I don't give the time it needs to heal.
  • I know you said free but.... E-Mealz is my life saver. It costs me 5 bucks a month and I get an entire menu AND shopping list at the store of my choice for a whole week. It has saved me a lot of money and time. you can choose low fat, no carb, gluten free, vegetarian, etc. They have sample menus on the website..just google…
  • Planks are awesome for working your core muscles. Also there are a lot of pilates moves that work them too. :) Crunches are good too if you are doing them correctly. I tend to do 5 or 6 different kinds with my legs in various positions. My favorite is laying on your back on a workout bench. Hold your arms parallel to your…
  • I have the same problem, but I am on iron supplements because mine is so low. Here is a grea tlist brought to you by Google: http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/5000/5559.html
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/3047-700-calories-a-day-and-not-losing Read this. Anorexics continue to lose weight because their bodies consume themselves. Muscles, organs, everything. But at the same time they also have a stopping point.
  • Navy Girl here. Joined '02, stationed on USS Harpers Ferry for two years, went to A shcool, statione din Hawaii for 3 years, went to C school, now at Stennis Space Center, MS. I am an Aerographers Mate/Hydrogropher/admin person. :)
  • They don't eat. Plain and simple. And they aren't necesarily on a starvation 'diet' Anorexia is a psychological disorder, not a diet. There are others who chose to do this willingly ('pro ana/pro mia') but it is majorly frowned upon because the damage starvation does to your body. Here are some examples: ---Abnormally slow…
  • Salmon marinated in any kind of fat free dressing, or lime with lower fat butter. Lime and pepper tilapia. Sushi (my fav)
  • I highly recommend emealz. they give you an entire meal plan for a week (dinner) and for my choice, walmart low fat, it is under 50 dollars. You pay 5 bucks a month, but I save about $200 every month of groceries now. They also have low carb, gluten free, veggie, and meal plans for 4 or more people. Just Google e-mealz and…
  • I used to have that issue when I ran too. Did it happen immediately after working out or a few hours later? If it is a few hours, it might be an over exertion headache. I tend to get those when I try too do much or exert too much.
  • Post WIN. You will be doing damage to your body if you lose drastic weight like that and then gain it all back quickly. But, as a former Ana, I know nothing we can say here will stop you from doing it. But god...it's not worth it. It really, truly isn't.
  • I'm not a doctor but I had iron deficiency for a long time and had those same symptoms. I didn't know it until I was in the ER and they did blood work on me. Check and see how much iron you are taking in.
  • Ug I have the same problem. I always want to go out and eat and I end up sabatoging myself. :( I don't have a problem with working out because I love my workout (hoop dancing). It's the food that kills me.
  • lol why just pizza??? Why not everything fast food?
  • E-Mealz has the option for gluten free menus. It cost 5 dollars a month but gives you the entire weeks worth of recipies, shopping list, and how much it will cost. I use the fat free version and not only is it easier to plan meals (i don't even have to think about it anymore) it has saved me a lot of money. Just google…
