Good for you! Awesome work....congratulations! The smile on your face in your "now" pics as opposed to the sad look on your face in your "before" pics says it all. So happy for you!!

This is a great place to help you make a change. Using MFP is helping me to change my body, which is helping my whole life....attitude, appearance and most importantly my health. You can do this! Don't set your goals or expectations too high that you get frustrated and want to give up. Keep telling yourself that you CAN do…

Good for you!! I too made it through and without totally overdoing it. I was 26 calories UNDER my goal! I was amazed when I sat down and logged....and I was honest too! Maybe this IS a sustainable lifestyle!

Yep, I have tried it.....stupidly for sure.....a couple of times. The first time it wasn't too bad, as I kept to a pretty low fat diet. But like another poster said, I had an oily, orange ring in my toilet (GROSS). The next time I tried it, I decided "just one dinner" of pepperoni pizza wouldn't kill me. Well, I lived to…

I love being that person in the lunchroom at work that's known as "the healthy eater". I love it that other people are now noticing my weight loss and commenting on it. It's so great to run into someone you haven't seen in a while and have them say how great and healthy you are looking. I love the new spring in my step,…

If you have access to a microwave the sky's the limit. I bake enough fish for 2-3 days....salmon, cod, tilapia or trout......and I take some fish or baked chicken breasts and some veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, green beans.....whatever you like) and heat them up for lunch almost every…

Shrimp Tacos: Small shrimp sauteed in a bit of olive oil with cumin and garlic, chopped tomatoes, cilantro, onion, shredded cabbage or romaine, a bit of lowfat sour cream on soft white corn tortillas. YUM!!! (you can also use Gortons butter/garlic fish fillets instead of shrimp)

Mine is visible to my friends. It doesn't bother me either way. I eat some weird breakfast food (Michelina's salisbury steak and mashed potatoes is one of my faves), so I'm sure that I raise some eyebrows with my food choices. I like to look at other people's diaries to get ideas for different meals. However, I never judge…
