  • Now this is a great post! Thanks for sharing. I have several new salads to try now!!!
  • I couldn't agree with you more. I am one who stands by the ideal that complimenting one another is great but do not have a laundry list of expectations for a potential mate that YOU cannot meet!!! It all starts with self-love and knowing your worth. Once you have that most everything else will fall in place. I am perceived…
  • I must ask...Why? Are you saying you are not worthy of a healthy & loving relationship? Is it a self-love issue?
  • I am in!!! I will do 200! I will add that to my exercise for the day too!!! Thanks for this mini challenge.
  • I am honest and tactful. Rude is negative so I tend to stay away from that. Keeping it real is a positive and a necessity. Are you sure you want someone to be rude towards you? LOL. I believe you want/need someone to keep it real with you not insult you, right?
  • This is funny...nothing negative at all here. Some of the posts were hilarious.
  • nope...you were right on the money.
  • I understand. I hear you! I support you. I joined MFP a while back and never really used it at all. I really got on board this year. I don't like to weigh myself at home so I didn't. I stuck to eating better and exercising. Some weeks were better than others. I had some cheat meals too. What I found with me is that…
  • Way to go!!!
  • I used to think that too but guess what I learned...it was my carb-heavy eating that bulked me up. I was hitting the weights and eating the hell outta those carbs. The truth is, from what I've learned at least & in my recent experience over the last 2 years, is that you are right. Lifting weight, building muscle burns more…
  • Girl you look friggin amazing!!! Right after a baby too! I am inspired. What was this 2 week challenge? I'd like to try it too. Did you breast feed? I heard that helps get the new mom's figure back. I have a friend who just gave birth 7/4 and she is eager to get back on her fitness regimen.
  • Very funny responses. I can see my tummy muscles when I laugh or flex of course but I need to work on melting the surround fat so I can see them with no effort.

  • I'm down!! Sorry I'm late posting.
  • Great words of encouragement. I needed this too. We all do at some point. It's hard to remain disciplined when everyone is not onboard. I'm in that boat. When I met my boyfriend I was: Eating healthy In running class Tuesday & Thursday Working with a trainer Monday & Wednesday Played softball every Thursday evening after…
  • My $0.02 Student loan debt is not bad. You have to adjust your lifestyle to make ends meet and student loans are included. I wouldn't be so harsh to say that anyone with student loan debt who is struggling to pay for it bit off more than they could chew. I'm inlcined to believe that circumstances change...life…
  • friggin amazing!!!!
  • I seem to need re-focusing each week. I am doing well but sometimes I forget to log my food and exercise. I need to keep checking in to stay motivated. I believe I will start this challenge even though I am late starting. So I will start today.
  • My trainer, Stu @ ESC CrossFit Southend, suggests an apple with a small serving of protein. So I usually have a small braeburn apple and about 7 slices of turkey pepperoni. I am also a supplement fan. So I take a tablespoon of L-Carnatine before my workout.
  • I needed this post today. I recently took part in some jogging (I am not a runner) and well, someone came flying by me with encouraging words. All the while i am thinking to myself "You will finish the run", knowing I had to do some strength training afterwards. The women who work out with me are amazing. They are always…
  • I did insanity a while back and I wore my HRM to track calories burned. Awesome job!
  • Hello. I've had the same issue. It seems that when I lose weight I ended up gaining it back and not even realizing it until too late. Well, now that I am back on track I will need to network here to help keep me motivated and disciplined. @ Myogibbs - Not setting a goal or date will be difficult b/c I really want to be in…
  • Watermelon when it is in season...but in moderation of course. I could actually eat watermelon everyday.
  • Job well done! I am inspired by your success and progress. I am fairly new to MFP and I just have not been as consistent as I'd like to be. Some weeks are better than others. I enjoy working out (currently in CrossFit) but I often fall off with my eating. For instance, I am feeling really motivated now and I hope to stay…
  • Me too! We can motivate each other. Will add you.
  • I have run before ( I am not a "runner") but need to get back at it. I am doing CrossFit and I find myself losing inches, getting stronger, and feeling a little bulky, which means I need to increase my carido. I am going to try Couch to 5k as well.
  • I have never heard of it but may look into it. I haven't even weighed myself b/c I am in CrossFit. I am gaining muscle and stepping on the scale may send me mind-tripping.
  • True...so true. I do not feel any different but I don't feel bad.
  • I have not tried those but I do use the African Mango Dr. Oz talked about. I am not sure that I am seeing or feeling a difference and it's been about 6 weeks. I also take CLA and drink L-Carnatine (love it) along with some other vitamins. All seem to work fine as of now so I plan to continue.
  • I am doing it. I drink protein shakes to help stay within my calories. Isagenix is what I use now. I also have a 100% Whey powder from Costco that good (on the sweet side).
  • Well, I have only gained. Just lost my way over the holidays. I started over last week. I met with my trainer and had a long discussion about what I needed to do. So this is week 2 of starting over...and I happen to have a cold and no appetite. Any suggestions?
