I agree with this. However it is very hard to gain muscle while eating at a deficit, but if you are knew to crossfit then you can make gains if your body is not used to it. They are called newby gains. So it can happen

We have really strayed away from the actual topic that was supposed to be discussed. I use carb cycling when prepping for a contest however, when doing so am eating at a (Calorie Deficit) which goes along with what everyone else is saying as the reason why your losing weight.

I like to eat more on my training days espesially weight training for women. I suggest to my clients to eat more carbs on there traing days as well!

What I use when I get close to a contest is carb cycling. One high carb day followed by one low carb day. As long as you are hitting your macros while doing so you will bust right through the plateau.
