  • I'm just wondering why low carb and low fat? Protein and veggies (AKA low carb) is for weight loss, protein and fat is for maintenance, and protein and carbs is for weight gain. To nix the carbs and fat may get results in the short term, but may not last for the long run, and may harm your body more then it helps.
  • Hey, Unfortunately I think the bike is right. The stationary bike burns the least amount of calories out of all the cardio equipment, and I normally do the same as you when on the bike and I burn about 120 in 25 minutes. I'm 27, 5'8 and 138 pounds. I wish it were 1000 calories though! :smile:
  • The Snap Fitness downtown just opened this summer; I think it's the old World Health. I work out at the one in Sherwood Park and it's owned by the same person and it's quiet and I always feel comfortable. Great place to get a good workout.:smile:
