Hi ourlostprophet, welcome to the group! I'm around the same weight as you, and I'm looking forward to being under 300lbs again too! They are great exercise goals for the month. MFP is a great tool for weight loss. It has really helped me, and I hope it will help you too. :flowerforyou: Unknown - how are things with you?…

Both those classes sound great, Skittles. Exhausting, challenging, but fun! I'm exhausted at the moment. I think it is my depression. It gets worse in the summer. So draining. I got strength training and a walk in so far today, will probably do more walking this evening.

Ha!ha! We'll see about that, Skittles! Yes, being active is certainly hard work! Good luck at beating the girl on fitbit. I know you can do it! :drinker:

My exercise challenge for May is to complete all 30 days and 3 levels of the 30 day shred. Walk 10,000 steps everyday and strength training for at least 30 minutes three times a week. I hit 80lbs lost this week. That's 20% of my starting body weight gone. I'm only 28lbs away from leaving the 300's. I want to make as big a…

@Unknown - I'm sorry things have been tough for you this week. Skittles is right, listen to your doctor and your body, and happy healing! I know it is really hard when you can't workout. Hasfit has got seated workouts that you might be able to do, but there are a lot of punches and curls so I don't know if you can do that…

Hi Stormy. I started at over 400lbs. I didn't have any spinal injuries, but I could only stand for a few minutes or walk a short distance before my back ached. Sitting was painful, even lying down was uncomfortable. I was in pain and tired all the time. I was gasping for breath just doing any basic activity. I started just…
