I can tell I'm going to drop below a certain weight by feeling a certain way... but this is because i know exactly what goes in my body(kcal/macros) and I know there's no way but to go down.

I am losing weight now.. steadily at around 3 - 3.5kg/ month, however, I'm not sure if a cut at my size and exercise level/intensity requires more kcal or not since I'm trying to gain muscle while losing some fat. My b/f level is prob around 19 - 22% range now at 240lbs I'm trying to get to 210lbs @ 13-15% bf.

No I can do 100 situps, unbroken, but because I weigh 240 lbs, I can never see any lower ab definition. Focus on cardio and strength lifts. Core will get stronger with dynamic lifts and as you get lighter and lift heavier, your core will (unknowingly) be engaged more. Add abs once your b/f gets lower.
