  • I have the EatSmart one from Amazon and I love it
  • Spinach Low carb tortillas Sandwich thins/bagel thins English Muffins Peanut butter Egg Whites Eggs Quest Bars Low sodium tuna packets Shredded cheese Bananas Almond milk Ground turkey Chicken breasts Oatmeal Nuts (walnuts, almonds)
  • -what was your experience with eating quest bars? did they make you full easily? Love them, and yes, they fill me up more than other bars - I think because of the Fiber content -what is another cheaper place to get them other than GNC? I buy them at Vitamin Shoppe or on Amazon - you can find them on Amazon for $24.99/box…
  • I have been on two cruises during this journey and did just fine. I would eat in the dining room as much as possible because their portions were much smaller. Have fun!
  • I'm 5'2 and 115lbs. For a few years I was in the 125-135 range but for me, it took instense workouts (think boot camp, cross-fit style work outs) as well as a clean eating plan to take it to the 115 mark. I eat 6 meals - each around 200-300 calories. My diary is open so feel free to take a look.
  • I actually get Botox treatments every 6 months - insurance pays for it and it helps tremendously!
  • 1. Yogurt - the smell alone makes me gag and I want so badly to eat it 2. Fish - can't stomach that either
  • Happens to me too - thought about trying to spray the plate with nonstick cooking spray but keep forgetting to try it
  • I eat 6 meals a day and total 1,200 on rest days - feel free to look at my diary. Took a while to figure out what worked and kept me full. I go over my proteins usually and fat (mainly good fats) and stay under for carbs, sodium and sugar.
  • I eat a low sugar diet - basically my daily sugar totals come from fruits only (except an occasional treat). For me, I have found that cutting out other sugars from cereals, snack bars, etc. has drastically reduced my sugar cravings. I used to crave ice cream, chocolate, brownies, etc. but since cutting out all of the…
  • I broke my foot 2 years ago and had surgery and couldn't put my foot down for almost 8 weeks.. It was complete hell only to be topped off by the fact that I gained about 15lbs from sitting all the time and eating crappy food that was quick because I couldn't cook. I would have given anything for someone to make me…
  • I did Weight Watchers - lost 24 pounds and I found it to be very easy and I was losing anywhere from 1 to 1.5 pounds a week. I am a lifetime member since I hit my original goal weight but chose to try MFP to lose the last few pounds (I'm currently 5'3, 119 pounds and would like to get to 115). I have been doing MFP for…
  • I like Veev Acai with Diet Ginger Ale and a lime
  • I had great success on Weight Watchers as far as weight loss (about 55 lbs in total). I ate fairly healthy to begin with but it really helped with the portion control which was huge for me. I think it was much easier to track than MFP but obviously you pay for that. The only negative is that exercise was not promoted as…
  • I have a serious Diet soda addiction.. I know it sounds crazy since I only drink one a day (at lunch) but I feel sick if I don't have it. I actually broke my foot and couldn't get out into the garage fridge where I keep them and had to call a neighbor to come grab one for me since I was home alone - he thought I was nuts.…
  • I have only tried the cookies and cream ones and they are delicious - especially for my after workout "dessert" - heated up in the microwave with a glass of milk.. Cannot wait to try the cookie dough ones - they are next on my list
  • I was excited to try the Subway avocado but I thought it was kind of gross - not a fan of the consistency
  • I have never done TurboFire but I completed T25 so I can give you my opinion on that. When I started, I was not in great shape and the workouts were difficult. I definitely sweat a lot and felt like I got a great cardio workout. I did not see any visible results after completing the program nor did I lose any pounds or…
  • If I eat Quaker Oats instant oatmeal, an hour later I get shaky and starving. If I eat steel cut oatmeal, it sustains me much longer and I don't have the crash like I do with the regular oats. Assuming it has something to do with the glycemic index someone mentioned before so for that reason, I stick with the Steel Cut.
  • Feel free to add me too - I aim to have anywhere from 1,200 - 1,350 depending on my exercise for the day. I love looking at other diaries for ideas as well. I eat clean for the most part.
