  • When I jog at 4mph pace I log it as the walking 4mph option. That's all I could find as well and I'd rather underestimate calories burned than overestimate.

  • I eat 1/2 cup of oatmeal (150 cals) everyday for breakfast and I put 1 tablespoon of honey in it. 64 calories and it's delicious. 214 calories all together.
  • Right now it's: 1) running a few times a week (2 or 3 short runs of 2-4 miles and 1 long run) 2)Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown 3)walking/jogging with my puppy 4)playing tennis Some weeks I do a combo of all of these, sometimes just one or two things. It all depends on what I feel like!
  • I personally find them hilarious and not at all offensive! I have noticed some people getting really upset about it though (from what I've seen on tumblr). I think sometimes people take things like this too seriously and become offended over something that was never meant to be taken that way.
  • love tumblr! mine is dropitdropittt.tumblr.com

  • I love sites like this! I currently use http://www.recipepuppy.com/ which sounds the same. You type in ingredients and if gives you recipe matches. I''m definitely going to check this site out as well! Thanks :)

  • I ordered my PB2 from netrition.com. It was 3.99 a jar which I didn't think was too bad. I know you can find it at health food stores and there is a store locator on Bell Plantations website, but the closed to me is an hour away :( You'll love it though, it surprisingly does really taste like peanut butter even though it's…
  • I love Nutella and eat it sometimes. As for peanut butter, i have replaced it with PB2 and Chocolate PB2. It is way better for you than peanut butter and tastes very similar. it's so good!
  • I was under the impression that your lifestyle setting was based on your activities outside of working out. Like if you have desk job, a physically demanding job, ect.
  • My boyfriend knows how much I weighed at my highest weight and my current weight. I pretty much tell him every time I weigh myself now because I'm excited to be losing. It probably depends on the couple though. We've been together 6 1/2 years, so there's really nothing we keep from each other.
  • I have a hormone imbalance and cysts and my doctor put me on birth control pills and it's helps so much. I've been able to lose weight now and I don't have crazy/violent mood swings anymore.
  • For things I can't find on MFP, I look it up on other websites and then add it in myself manually.
  • i was always super nervous to run outside because I was larger and felt like people would judge me and think "wow, she really needs to run." But people are so nice! I love getting the "runners wave" when I pass people, it's like being in a super cool club, lol. It's great to finally realize that other runners don't see you…
  • I would consider using a measuring tape to take all your measurements and use that as a way to gauge progress instead of the scale. It will reflect muscle changes as you get smaller, even if the scale stays the same!
  • It's important to build muscle. It is very difficult for women to bulk up by lifting regular weights. I like this photo that shows the difference between body building women and regular women who lift weights: http://i.imgur.com/nj1UJ.jpg
  • I like to listen to Eminem, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne. The faster the beat, the faster I run.
  • mapmyrun.com is done from your computer to map out your distance before/after you run/walk/hike. It uses google maps I believe
  • If you can see weight loss but the scale doesn't reflect it, it is probably muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat so your weight can stay the same, but you will look thinner. I also agree with eating 1200 a day or less and burning 2000 being extremely unhealthy. Your body will start storing fat and you will actually lose…
  • I know it can be hard for some people to get up and exercise in the morning, it is for me, but when it's supposed to be hot outside the best thing you can do is to try and exercise in the morning before it heats up or in the evening after it has cooled down. Also, be sure to hydrate adequately! Good luck!
