Does the jawbone calculate heart rate and calories burned? He is in the Army and because of regulations he can't wear a chest strap, so I want to find the most accurate product so he can use it all the time.

Has anyone tried the Polar FT7? There are some additional things it does in comparison of the FT4, but I didn't know if it still worked as well as everyone seems to think the FT4 does.
