  • Noonis - definitely go with your HRM results. I use Insanitycalories.com to figure mine out and then create my own exercises on MFP. I find it's pretty similar to the results your getting with your HRM.
  • I'm so glad that worked out for you. Be careful with high fiber fruit before a lengthy workout too. It can cause some GI distress right in the middle. I do a 1/4 cup of raisins about 30 mins before a workout which gives me about 30g of carbs but keeps the fiber low. But if your body can handle the fiber, go for it!

Think about it, if you burn off all those carbs during a workout and you don't replete afterwards through the day, the next day when you go to do your workout, your glycogen…
