Hey Scorpio, did you start the program, mic so, are you seeing the result and what is your first impression. I am giving it a go starting tomorrow 23 Nov so I would be interested in your comments.

Very well done, don't take too much notice of BMI, it is an outdated measurement. Continue with your studies as you have "street knowledge" to back up all that theory. I studied years ago although I never worked in the industry, just for my own knowledge and I have never regretted it.

What tools are you using to measure your body fat?

If you are finding the bar is slipping through your fingers because of the weight, get some wrist straps. They loop around your wrist and then you wind the stars around the bar, best for assisting you in lifting heavier when your grip just cannot hold.

Check out http://scoobysworkshop.com, plenty of good advice and none of the BS.

Thanks for sharing, created the spreadsheet today and will start tracking.

What is your calorie goal for the day? Have you worked out your TDEE?

Exactly what nine says, Protein shakes are for those not able to get the amount of daily protein through food. They are expensive though and having some protein rich foods on hand will help and save you money. I always some some tuna or baked beans around for after a workout if I have not made the protein number for the…

I wanted to lose around 8-10 KG, in 2 months I am down 7KG. At first it went at 1 or 0.5kg per week easily. It gets harder as I approach the magic number however now I am not focused so much on the weight as I am body fat. MY strength training is packing on the muscle however plenty of room to move on the BF.

Greetings.....I managed to get myself off the sofa two months ago and with some smart eating and great exercise I am down 7kg in that time. Happy to help you get off that sofa.

Thanks Jim for the extensive insight into how you achieve your amazing results, hope I look that good after 90 days

Hi, what is your calorie intake like, there needs to be a deficet in calories in order to reduce weight, exercise alone will not work.
-
Calories in versus calories out is the easiest meal planner, eat what you like(in moderation) and make sure you work off those calories. This too is my second attempt, been on for 60+ days now and I have found the community to be great. I log the food although as i travel a lot, most of my meals are outside so I don't have…

Just when I think I have seen the most amazing story on MFP, another one comes along. Yours is exception, congratulations on your success and sheer determination, I love your quote about how one salad won't make you fit.
-
All that they said, and particuarly about the references to Jay Cutler et all....they have very serious workout and nutrition routines.
-
I also agree, you already have a success story, you joined MFP.....many don't. 17lbs is a great start also, no need to short change yourself there.
-
WOW, that is the only way I can describe your achievements, congratulations
-
Congratulations, what a terrific turn around

Diet soda, I was a full on soda fiend and cut that to diet soda, not much maybe a glass a week now. Water is my substitute, put to around 3 litres a day now from a glass a day.

I know that reading the responses may have been difficult however by the looks of your latest response, you understand that the advice was given with your best interests at heart. Having a goal will help you maintain focus, if you make it, terrific...if you get close, terrific...if you don't try, not so good. Good luck…

Greeting, cannot say I know much about the sales in McD's, I don't go in their stores, however, there are regulations in the US about publishing the nutritional values of food. Hopefully that is enough to make the statements about their salads true. Good luck with your mission.

great job....fantastic results...well done

Happy to help out with the motivation, I am 50 days in and enjoying it all....feel free to add

I have been using FitBit for around 40 days now and I admit at the start I thought it would be a waste of money, friends had them. Having experienced the FitBit now I would say that it is the little "reminder" in my head now that my lifestyle needed change. Setting up the active minutes and steps per day is a way to check…

Absolutely no negatives here unless you are talking about the direction of the scale....what an amazing transformation, congratulations.
