I would honestly recommend that you meet with your primary care physician and talk to him/her about what you can do, get some labs done to make sure it's nothing like diabetes or thyroid issues, and go from there.

I was not advising that the OP starve herself, in fact, I support healthy eating/healthy lifestyle, although I see where there could be a mix up. I was simply saying that people need not jump to conclusions, especially when they're ill-informed. No matter what, that baby will not starve. It was wrong of someone to jump to…

You need to do your homework before judging an expecting mother who is trying to take care of her and her baby's health. EVEN if she wasn't eating enough, (which she is) the baby wouldn't starve. The baby would be given nutrients from the mother's body. While unhealthy for the mother, the baby would be properly nourished.…

I am 8 months pregnant and am down 7lbs just from eating and exercising properly. However, even if you are obese, you still need to gain 11-20 lbs during pregnancy. (This is what my OB-GYN told me, as I follow up with them about my exercise/eating habits) Make sure that you're being healthy and making healthy choices, and…

I am also a Christian. I am 20 with a daughter and a son on the way. I have an overall weight loss goal of 108lbs. (Which would bring me down to 145) So far, I have lost six pounds. =) Welcome to my fitness pal!

Count me in! My present goal is to lose 50lbs, my overall goal is 105lbs

I fell off too. I gave up on myself for 6 days (which doesn't sound like much, but it was enough to gain back three pounds.) Then I looked at myself in the mirror. Naked. I thought about my kids and my husband, and what kind of illnesses await me if I don't get to a healthier weight. Maybe you just need more motivation…

I completely agree with this ^^. You can't just give up after a week, you have to be more realistic than that. Make sure you follow the diet plan on here, it really does work if you stick to it! Also, don't cut out your favorite foods completely. Eat them in moderation. Do not solely rely on ACE. I have heard very good…

Yes a while back I lost about 70lbs from not eating enough. Then I got pregnant and ate more, still under my calorie intake, but more than I had been eating and gained a ton of weight.

Anyone on this thread can add me!

The issue is that I gained too much weight, and the cause was that I wasn't eating anywhere near enough. I came up about 1000 calories short every day. Since I started MFP and started eating the right amount of calories, I have lost weight, but I'm having a bit of a setback from this weekend and then being sick. I'm…

I have Graves Disease, and they basically gave me radioactive iodine until my thyroid was almost completely nonfunctional. It is harder to lose weight. Until you're on the correct dosage, I would do your best, but not expect too many results. Also, your underactive thyroid can cause a lot of joint/muscle pain and even…

I have too many: Fibromyalga, pregnant and tired, stress makes me overeat, depression makes me not eat. I've been training myself to not use them anymore.

Been on here for 11 days now and have also had binge days. They happen, just treat the next day as a regular day. Start again. Being healthy isn't over, and this setback is only a one day setback. I'd also add a little extra exercise, if you can.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking either, but if it's a case of not eating enough calories per day while still working out, I can personally say it can make you gain weight. Usually, it's not encouraged for pregnant women to diet or even count calories, but my midwife had me join this site because I am very active…

Yes! When I was 14 I was 5'8 and 112lbs and still had DDDs. My boobs are the only thing that never change! I'm looking into a reduction once I'm done breastfeeding.

You are probably more aware of the calories that you are supposed to be consuming and burning than you were before. If you really think that it's something serious, talk to your doctor and have them run some tests.

I am 31 weeks pregnant and LOVE peanutbutter, especially since eating certain meats and eggs gives me a stomachache. MY 2 YO also loves PB. I give it a 10/10 lol

I'm 5'8 and for now, my goal is 160, which means I have about 93 pounds to go.

When my husband acts like a jerk, I use it as motivation to go to the gym. I figure that the more I'm treated like crap, the hotter I'll get, and if he pushes me too far, he won't be able to touch me, even when I've reached my goal and I'll know that I look good. You are beautiful love, use it to your advantage. If he…

Feel free to add me! I just joined a few days ago :)

I have Graves Disease, and before I received proper treatment for it, I lost a ton of muscle. Walking for 30 minutes a day is a wonderful way to start! Any little bit helps.

I have no idea how to add people on here, but if you'd like, you could add me. I just joined three days ago and am highly impressed with this site.

Totally agree. I mean, I like sports, but I'd much rather play them than watch them, and I'd rather play video games than sports. I like watching Star Trek better than any of those! LOL
