  • Here's one I posted a few feeks ago: Ingredients: Extra Firm Tofu - 0.5 package (6.75 oz) - 180 calories Hoisin sauce - 1 Tbsp (I used Earthfare Organic) - 25 calories Chili garlic sauce- 1 tsp - 0 calories Olive oil - 1 Tbsp - 120 calories To start, once you take the tofu out of the package, wrap it in a lot of paper…
  • Those look amazing! I need to find a muffin pan for the half-size oven in my new apartment and make these ASAP
  • Choose one without cheese or mayo The only way to get the calories low on stuff like that where you don't know what goes into it is to get the simplest thing possible, and for the add-ons, choose thinks like mustard (spicy if you want), salsa, veggies, etc. To estimate the calories, ask how many ozs of beef they use and…

  • I've frozen the little plastic cups of yogurt and they taste great! However, once you freeze it, if you decide you want it as regular yogurt, you're out of luck, because whenever I've frozen it and put it back into the fridge again, the texture gets really disgusting..it looks like it has gone bad.
  • The masala veggie patties are so good! If you aren't concerned with sodium, give them a try; They are a little spicy, super flavorful, and make a great meatless meal! 120 cals a patty The three layer hummus is also fantastic
  • Gatorade was made for the Florida Gators, so to a Georgia Bulldog like me, it's unacceptable. :P Water
  • For some people working with only 1200 calories, it makes more sense to cut out the yolks and save those extra 50 calories
  • Gelatin definitely has animal products in it, which is why standard gelatin isn't vegan or kosher For the dessert, you can get those mini shortcake cups and use blueberries and strawberries with cool whip or whipped cream
  • Cheese sandwiches Grilled chicken wraps with some lettuce or another veggie in them Celery sticks with PB String cheese or Babybel cheeses Sliced apples
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Smashing Pumpkins Very different sounds, but each member of both bands has so much talent and personality, and it all comes together well. Plus, Darcy Wretzky had blue hair.

  • For people who know a lot about nutrition and how to eat right, yes this article is dumb. But most people don't know the calorie and nutrition contents of most foods, so they think anything advertised as healthy must be lower. I know fo one friend in particular who has always been really thin and never had to watch her…
  • For salty stuff, I eat a piece of nori (seaweed used for sushi) It's only 10 calories for a big sheet, and since it takes a while to eat, you not only get the crunchyness and saltiness you crave but it gives you time for the other craving to pass I usually have it with a glass of water to help me feel fuller too.
  • The tall mocha light frappuccino at Starbucks has only 100 calories, and I think the caramel one is low too. I believe both are under 140 for even a grande and they taste delicious
  • Bacon. I've never eaten pork and the smell of it grosses me out. Turkey bacon I don't mind as much though. Others include: Mayo Sour cream Butter (it makes cakes, etc. taste good but I hate the taste of it spread on bread) Fried seafood Ranch dressing Hot dogs
  • The Carrot cake flavor is awesome, and I don't even like carrot cake. Definitely recommend this brand. It also tastes good if you leave it in the freezer for a bit
  • The cones with vanilla and caramel topping are AMAAAAAZING
  • Nope I use measuring cups and spoons if the item's serving size is by that kind of measurement, or I count it out if it's something like chips, etc. For other items, I go by fractions. For instance, if I buy 1.5 lbs of chicken breasts, and cut the 3 breasts into halves, then I log each half I eat as 4 oz. (24 oz total /…
  • I had a similar thought this morning.. I had to take out the kitchen trash and I though "Wow, this is stinky." But then, I realized it was stinky because it was filled with trimmed bits of meat, veggies that were no longer good, cheeses, and other food products than can go bad, rather than pastas and cookies and cake. I…
  • The USDA adjusts nutrition guidelines based on what will benefit US products. Example: Eggs were "condemned" many years ago because of cholesterol, but when egg farmers began to suffer, government agencies began promoting eggs. Basically, I feel like whatever they release should not really be used as a guideline for how to…
  • While a lot of people use "big bones" as an excuse for being out of shape, I'm sure bone size varies from person to person. My ribcage is actually pretty big compared to the rest of my frame; Even when I had a BMI that was nearing the overweight category, some of my ribs stuck out. Now that I'm in right about the middle of…
  • Sorry to double post, but I found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYH52hRbwJg Fast forward to about :57
  • Someone mentioned the word "moist.." Have you ever seen the show "Dead Like Me"? The mother hates the word "moist" because she thinks it's inappropriate :p I hate the word "yummy". I feel like it should only be used when speaking directly to someone under the age of 5. I also can't stand when people say "shut up"; I find…
  • This breaks my heart; I feel so bad for Lea. I don't understand why her husband would specifically pick that place if he was going to berate her about anything she ordered there. I don't know the couple, but if his behavior is typical, then that seems like emotional abuse to me. If your friend seems to be having success…
  • StarAly: Yeah, this girl may have good recipes and such, but she says she eats 1000 cals a day, and her BMI puts her well into the underweight category. People keep recommending her website on MFP but I think readers should be aware of this hen they're looking at her site. As a response to the thread, I'm a rising 3rd…
  • Flatout Pizza (Light Italian Herb Flatout, 0.4 cup of Ragu Light, 1 cup broccoli)
  • Fiber Oner Bran Cereal - so delicious!! I didn't know people under 60 years old were allowed to like bran :P
  • Definitely chest..whole upper body. I've only lost a little in my legs and butt
  • It's possible that what she meant was along the lines of "you look so good now that it's surprising you don't have a boyfriend because a lot more guys are probably attracted to you" If she's an otherwise sweet person, or if she's not very smart and didn't think about what implications her statement had, then I wouldn't be…
