This explains what I have experienced. Lost 20%, I have to stay 10% or more below my budget to maintain. Never made sense to me. Now at a year and a half into maintenance and still the same.

The most accurate is not your real goal. You should only be concerned on the net change. For that you only need to be consistent in when you measure. For me I do it the same (roughly) time of day the same day every week. Sunday morning before my first meal is it for me. BTW, I also used this method to get my starting point.

Once a week. Same day and time. Analyse and react to weekly diet and weight numbers. Adjust menu and activity accordingly. This routine works for me. Find a routine that fits your individual lifestyle. Remember to live and enjoy life.

66, 57lbs, 180 days. Virtually no loose skin. No real exercise regimen either. Took my time. Persistence and patience the key. I might just be fortunate. No guarantees this would work for others.

Like me and probably like most of us we did not notice the weight as we gained it. This becomes the test. Can we maintain the perseverance and desire to stay with it. The only barometer, especially early on, is the scale. You are doing really well! Keep it up. The results will eventually be noticeable. You must not give up…
