I'm 58 and teach Zumba Gold. It's for people just like yourself who want to enjoy the fun of Zumba at a slower tempo. No jumping or sudden changes of direction. Great music and moves. You take it at your own pace and I think you'll find that you'll be surprised what you can do and how great you'll feel after a class. I…

Have you tried Zumba Gold? The tempo is a bit slower than standard Zumba Basic (the one most people know). There's no sudden change of direction or jumping. It's more dancey and exercise. You get a whole body workout in a very different way. Still loads of fun, great music, and you will burn plenty of calories. I've been…

Zumba Gold is ideal for people who want to move and have fun but need a slightly slower tempo. No sudden turning or jumps. If you go on www.zumba.com you can search for a zumba gold class near you. All best for your health journey.

I'm biased as I love Zumba Gold. I would say to you to find exercise that gives you a buzz and a lift. Maybe part of your eating is for comfort or a lift, so by exercising in a way that makes you feel good, you need less food to do the same thing, if that makes sense. Plus once you have burned those calories and feel good…

Hi I also feel sick when dieting. mfp put me on 1,200 too but it's not enough for me. I changed from sedentary to lightly active to see if eating just a few more calories a day helps. I eat a healthy mixed diet but the nausea is also linked to feeling weak. The clue it could be about not eating enough comes because when I…

Hi Helen I found your post when I googled 'problems dieting after gallbladder removal'. I'm so glad you asked this question. August 2011 - I lost about 17lb when I cut out all fat whilst awaiting my gallbladder removal which was carried out in December 2011. Before surgery I was taking Ibuprofen, (with paracetamol), to…

I started to put together a regular 35 min morning routine of doing Zumba Gold sourcing videos from Youtube which I could do at home. I put together a warm up, cardio and warm down session using create playlist on Youtube. Then I made a 1 hr playlist for weekends. Later I went to class and now I teach it. Maybe you could…

Hi I do Zumba Gold 6 days out of 7 for at least 60 minutes. That's because I decided to teach it and I'm learning choreography and getting fitter. I'll be delivering classes soon and will probably do 120 minutes twice a week and 60 minutes 3 other days. I have a day off and another when I teach theatre improv, voice and…

Ok, so you do sound frazzled. I'm a wholistic practitioner, so believe you need to take care of your whole self. I would recommend some meditation and some exercise that you really enjoy to nourish yourself in other ways. For me I do Zumba Gold as it combines dance and exercise. According to mfp I burn about 670 calories…
