Thanks everyone for the responses! I do want to say that I love my hips and the adore my hourglass figure. I asked this question because my hips do need to slim so I can follow my goal of joining the military. But again great responses and I'll be sure to try them

I agree that cardio can be boring at the gym on a piece of equipment. If you have a tablet and netflix or hulu I recommend finding a good TV show and watching an episode while working out. Then you'll do at least 42mins of cardio and the time will fly by as you'll be distracted by the show. Good luck.

Not everyone is the same size so 8cups of water is not accurate for everyone. The best way to calculate your water intake is half your body weight in ounces per day. For example if you are 200 / 2 = 100. thus you would need 100 ounces of water, each day. It surprising goes by fast. Good luck

Thanks everyone! I definitely want to try some of the suggested recipes.

Super simple formula to find out how many ounces of water you should have daily. 1)Take your weight. 2)Now divide it by 2. 3)The # you get is the # in ounces you should be drinking, daily. Example: 200 / 2 = 100ounces daily in just water.

Your doing AWESOME! I'm actually jealous of your results lol. Keep it up

I felt a little discouraged last week so I completely understand how you feel. Remember muscle weighs more then fat and drink lots of water. I'm not going to lie, that first week of Beta kicked my butt. Shaun will NOT ease you into it like he does in Alpha. He will push you to the extremes and you'll be all the better for…

I too have my goal set for Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred and T25 Beta level. Hope to be under 200lbs by April first

at the recruitment office they say that the waist is where you bend. so if your standing straight up and bend to the left or right, like your doing the yoga pose Palm Tree. Where the crease is that is your natural waist. this could be at the belly button or more commonly, above the belly button. hope it helps.

Good job! You have to start somewhere and that's a great start, especially doing it in intervals. This is one of my fav quotes and I feel you may enjoy it as well "I run. Slower then a herd of turtles thru peanut butter, BUT I run! "
