Congratulations! That's awesome!

I dropped a pant size a couple of weeks ago. Now needing new jeans, I went out and bought some really nice ones this past weekend. I took them home, washed them and put them on today...they're loose already. It was an expensive victory, but I'll take it!!!

It's convenient when you only want egg whites. It's a time saver, that's about it.

That I still don't know who I am in my own skin. I have defined muscles and curves that I never pictured as "me" before. Now that I am 1/2 way to my goal and maintaining large amounts of lean mass, 2-3 times stronger than I ever was before, I don't recognize myself any more. It makes it hard to stop looking in the mirror,…

That's awesome, great job!!

Great job OP, keep it up!

37 next week, 1 kid and full time job. It's busy! I'm 29 lbs down and 31 more to go. Workout 5 days a week and log daily like it's my religion, lol. Feel free to add me!

I had to unpack all of my jeans from a size down this week. Two months ago they wouldn't have slid up my thighs, and now they fit perfectly. I lost 2" from my hips and waist!

This. So much this.

Deadlifts. I'm obsessed with them. Love leg day!

Three whole eggs and black coffee. Usually tides me over for a few hours.

As a bonus, you get at least one or two random ladies on a weekly basis that want to rub it. It's like some odd temptation that can't be avoided. Especially when it's smooth as a baby's bottom. ;)

I say rock it if you got it. I love being bald.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned already or not, but my all time fave: "Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret."

Here's something else you can throw in the mix if you want to (or are able to) - Get your fiance to sit the drivers seat of your car, throw it in neutral, and go to town pushing and pulling (pull with chains or rope). No joke. Keep your abs tight to protect your core, and it'll be one hell of a workout.

Pizza and beer. It's food for the soul.

Thanks for posting this. It reminds me of that popular saying: "Suffer the pain of discipline, or suffer the pain of regret." I think we all know what it is (or was) that we chose to leave behind, and I sure don't want to go back there. Stay the course. We'll be happier for it.

Oh boy, I'm bad at this too. @pinkhu13 - 20?

Go for it! I have to agree with the above poster though, a text is flattering, but a phone call would be even more flattering. Good luck!

My first thought outside of food - Get sufficient sleep. I mean a solid 8+ hours a night if you can. That's down time for your body to repair.

Most lean beef and poultry are low in sodium if you cook it at home. Canned tuna and eggs, on the other hand, have much more sodium. They're still good for you though. I agree with the other posters suggesting to up your protein intake. It certainly helps me feel more full, especially after dinner. Good luck!

When my five year old starts acting inappropriately like that, I tell her in a firm voice that her attitude isn't called for, and she'll go in the time-out chair if she doesn't stop. Then I start counting. If I get to three, which sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, then she goes in the chair for four minutes. I re-explain…

Ditto. The last time I saw them was in Detroit about 6-ish years ago. Godsmack opened the show, and even with technical difficulties they rocked the hell out of the concert. Metallica came on, sped through 5 songs, and pretty much just bored the hell out everyone.

Good ideas. I planned on giving him a friendly hassle about it later this week when I see him. We were able to get him to make an account here a short while ago, but he's never used it. Getting him to use it is going to be the hard part.

We do, for the most part. We super set everything and try to keep moving constantly. He's such a beginner that we often have him do the exercises without the use of weight, so that he can work on his form and flexibility. It's still a lot of effort for him. I suppose a larger part of our frustration comes down to him not…

Having come from a similar situation, except I'm the father and my wife was the selfish one, I suggest having a serious sit-down talk. Preferably with counseling. Don't look at it as a bad thing. Look at it as an opportunity to communicate, educate, share and put responsibilities and obligations back in order. It can make…

Food for thought - Consider it an opportunity for self-empowerment and internal growth, as well as the obvious physical workout. Keep going, keep your head up, and keep rocking it as hard as you can. It can strengthen your confidence and empower your will to continue on your quest for better health with stronger…

Awesome job, man. Thanks for the inspiration!

As long as it's pure water with no sugar added, I'd say drink up. There are a few methods to carbonate liquids in the food industry, and the most common is through forced carbonation. In a nutshell, they put the liquid in a sealed container and force C02 into the same container as the liquid. The increased pressure of the…
