I hope everyone is doing well this morning! I feel like I've really been "bringing it" this week - and I feel very sore. That's good right?? :) Yoga tonight - it's hard to set aside so much time but it is a tough workout and kind of relaxing at the same time. Have a great day everyone!

Hello peyton115, jamielr84, jhendricks5, girl1beagle4 and phenomanaldove! Of course the more the merrier and we're glad you're here! Girl1beagle4: do you by chance have a beagle?? Or perhaps 4? I can't believe I'm already starting week 2! I'm trying to really push it this week now that I know what to expect. My upper body…

Today = 137.2 Inching along :)

Ok did Kenpo today. I found it a bit hard to follow so I'm looking forward to trying it again next week when I will know what to do a bit more. I did find it challenging and worked up quite a sweat by the end so I am hoping some good things were happening. I'm not sure my moves were as aggressive as Tony would like - I'm…

Legs were hard today. I tried to really bring it all week and the scale is starting to budge - hooray! Now just need to work on those inches! Not sure what kenpo is, can't wait to find out tomorrow. Good work everyone!

Just finished yoga. It was harder than I thought it would be - especially the beginning part. I really feel like I have no idea how much I'm burning with these workouts which is a little bit frustrating. I am thinking of picking back up with my usual cardio just to be sure I'm burning enough. I really liked the arms…

Just finished plyo - WOW it was so hard! Way to go everyone!

As others have said, veggies are great dippers. I like bell peppers because they make perfect "scoops." Or, if you're really craving chips I like to cut up small corn tortillas and bake them to make my own chips. Just cut into 8ths, spray with oil, sprinkle some salt, and bake for about 10 minutes or so. Yum!

How are y'all tracking your calories? I searched around on the forums but all they say is that a heart rate monitor is best. I realize this but can't quite afford one just yet. Maybe circuit training? Let me know if anyone has any ideas! Good luck to those starting today!

Down 1.8 this week!

Way to go everyone! I've been MIA all weekend but glad to be back! Here are my results: Weight: - 3 pounds Neck - .5 inches Waist - 3.5 inches Hips -2 inches Thigh - 1 inch Arm -0 inches Lower waist - 2 inches Bust - 4 inches (not so thrilled with that part  ) Syd1980 way to go on the 5 pound loss! I'm starting P90X…

Wow it looks like a big group! I plan on weighing in and measuring first thing tomorrow morning before I do the first workout. I can't wait! See you all tomorrow :)
-
When I did it I also do some other form of cardio most of the days. If I really had a busy day and I only had time for the 20 minutes then that's fine of course. I kind of looked that the shred as the "strength" component of my workout. But if you're feeling really exhausted or sore after then it might be a good idea to…

I forgot to post on Monday but I'm at 139 - tiny gain :(

Way to go everyone! I'm doing L1/L2 today - I've been alternating which two I do each day. But, I always do L2 because I still think it's the hardest one! Smtraxx: I was wondering about this too. At first I just took the basics: waist, hips, legs, arms. But a few weeks in I added bust and "lower waist" (the part of the…

I am just finishing up my last few days of the shred now. I noticed the biggest changes in L2. I would highly recommend taking before/after pictures and measurements so you can really notice the difference. Good luck!
-
YES! 30 Day Shred is SOOOO hard but you will see great results if you stick with it. Take before pics and measurements and you will amaze yourself!
-
Keep it up everyone! I agree, I wish had I had taken before/after pics. I took measurements around day 5ish so that's something! I did L2/L3 today - trying to lengthen the workouts to get ready for P90X! CricketKate: YES you are so right. It kind of makes me mad that she says things like "you have to push" and she's just…

Wow this thread is getting so active- that's great! As for the calorie thing, my goal is set at 1200 but I usually do eat more than that if I exercise. Like you said SwinginChandra, I don't normally eat back ALL my exercise calories but I do eat as much as I need to so that I feel full and have energy. I find that I really…

Yeah low carb is HARD. I just changed my nutrition goals to be like the ones on p90x and I'm pretty far off with the carbs and protein. I tried low carb before, I have issues with sugar, and I actually really liked it once I got used to it. I found that at first I just didn't know what to eat and that was the hardest part.…

Keep up the good work everyone! I love that this is such an active thread! L2 + L3 = worn out!
-
Yeah let's do it! And also yes to the before/during/after pics! I didn't do it for the 30DS and I totally wish I did!
-
Yeah me and my bright ideas.... Ok I'm gonna do L2 & L3 today - we'll see how it goes!
-
Hi! You can friend me if you want to :) I LOVE posting comments on people's status and I log in every day. Good luck!
-
PS I forgot to say: Steph- I'm sorry about you ankle! Take it easy and we can't wait to have you back next week. Also, sounds good for moving to L2!
-
Thanks to some motivation from some group members I did my shred today. I totally lost track of the days but that's ok! PS Smtraxx: congrats on the double shred!
-
Thanks for making the spreadsheet! OMG I can't believe I'm in a top list! That's NEVER happened to me! Although, I'm nervous what Mr. Scale is going to say to me tomorrow when I weigh in...
-
I did level 3 day....I'm not sure... today! My back felt so much better when I woke up - maybe I just needed to rest it. SwinginChandra: That's such a good assessment of L3. You're right, I feel like I found L1 and 2 so hard because of all the weight lifting/squats. But L3 is your whole body, still super hard but not as…

OMG that sounds like glory! I just need to buy vanilla breeze, grahams, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and cocoa mix and I will be ready to eat!

You're so right, I thought "20 minute workout how hard can that be?" Truth is that it is very hard! I'm not even sure how I got hurt. I didn't shred yesterday because I was studying for a ginormous test and then I just started having pain later in the evening, so weird. Maybe my punishment for skipping the shred? Be…
