I'd give the same advice. LIsten to your body, and see what works for you. I eat enough to be satisfied, focusing on healthy choices. Sometimes I don't trust that MFP is calculating the calories burned anyway. I lost 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks.

*sigh* no, it's not always about calories in vs calories out. You are a person, not a mathematical equation.... and those equations are guidelines, not rules. My personal experience is that if I eat too little (for me that's 15-1600 calories) I won't lose weight. I can be an angel, never "cheat", measure every portion etc…

WELL SAID! It's incredible the variety of sizes, shapes and weights that would fit into the category of "healthy". Height is not the only factor in how much you weigh.... Be Happy and Healthy... I am the same height, and my goal is 155/160, or a size 10. At one point in my life I weighed 145 lbs, (after an extended…

log everything! it's all data that you can learn from.... macronutrient balance, fibre intake, satiety... lots to look at :)

weight watchers tips: share with a friend, ask for a take out container when ordering and put half of it away right when it arrives, order from the kids/seniors/lunch menu, order an appetizer instead, order sides like salad or soup. If you have opportunity to check out the menu/nutrional info on line before you go, you can…

2 lbs a day is not realistic. Eat healthy, exercise and learn, learn, learn. People are all different, and what works for some, won't work for others. good luck!

People are all different....eat right, exercise, be healthy, lose a few pounds until you are happy with your body, regardless of what a scale or measuring tape says.

be patient! You're doing great. Weight loss can be a complex issue, sleep deprivation, changing hormones, change in lifestyle, etc. I find for myself, If I cut too many calories, I don't lose weight. I have to hit the "sweet spot", and even then, it's a slooooooow process. Stick with it, stay healthy, and good luck

walk the dog? join a team at school, or a gym. Find a friend who is interested in fitness as well, and go together. Check out the library, "fitness for dummies" is one that I've read, and it's pretty good. Glad to hear you want to be healthy and fit!

nice. everyone should lift :)

check out this site http://www.marksdailyapple.com/overtraining/#axzz2ltR85Rps. Every one is different, but there are some guidelines :)

start lifting, muscles burn calories all day long...... Lift safe, be strong and celebrate your acheivements. Be proud of who you are, every body is different, we can't all look like a fitness model in a photo.. a photo that may or may not have been retouched and photoshopped. Just like I can't be taller, no matter now…

if you have the means, consult a nutritionist or dietitian to fine tune your diet. A personal trainer can give you ideas and can push you harder if need be. Don't get discouraged, eating right and exercising are worth doing, regardless of what weight you are at. You could be at a plateau in your weight loss, or changing…
