Mine are hiding too. I'll send you a FR, maybe one of us will have some luck finding ours and we can share some tips.

I signed up for it as well. I was going to point out the walking as well. My plan is to run every day, but if it's not practical or I'm hurting, I'll walk it. I work out every day but I don't run on a regular basis, so I'm excited to see if I can make it the whole 40 days. Good luck!

I live in Virginia Beach now, but I grew up in Baltimore. I lived in Carney, right down the road from Towson.

Don't let that stop you! I'm the same age and was able to get down to 108 at 5'0" (I was 111 in high school). I eat approximately 2100 calories a day and work out 6 days a week.

After my first child was born, I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer to help me lose the extra 10 lbs I was carrying. I lost the weight and was starting to show some nice muscle definition. As time went on, I got pregnant again and continued to work out and would often pass my trainer at the gym and say hello. I quit…

Be careful using Kool Aid, that stuff is hard to wash out of hair and may result in a dye job that lasts for several days. That could land you in some major trouble.

Serious question here... how so? How is the system set up in the dad's favor? In my particular case, my husband walked out and left me with our two kids. He hasn't seen them in nearly a year. We both work, making roughly the same amount, give or take a couple thousand a year. His child support payment is based off both our…

5'0" here, currently at 110 lbs. I might lose a few more but I workout a lot and lift weights, so anything less than 105 is probably not maintainable for me. My max weight was 150, so I know where you're coming from. Don't get frustrated as you get closer to achieving your goal.. you'll find that the weight loss begins to…

Heck yeah! My 7 year old uses 3-pounders to do ChaLEAN Extreme with me. Gotta start 'em on the right path early.
-
This is what I do, too. Rather than worrying about how many calories I burned for a particular workout, or trying to eat or not eat based on my appetite, I calculated a constant calorie goal based on my average weekly workouts. Now I just log all my workouts as having burned 1 calorie.
-
Same here. 5'0", 112 lbs and I eat between 1800 and 2000 calories a day (with a workout at least 5 days a week). I recently had gone up to 118 (eating way more than 2000 and not logging) and was able to get back down to 112 in 6 weeks eating 1600-1700 a day. MFP does indeed underestimate in a lot of cases. You can manually…

A lot of us with higher calorie goals customized them instead of using what MFP suggests. The MFP calculators tend to run low. I think my MFP-dictated goal is about 1450 but that's way too low for me. I also find it easier to factor my exercise routine into my goal and have a set amount each day, rather than guessing how…

5'0", 114 lbs, and I have my goal set at 2000 a day without eating back exercise calories because I already factored my workouts into that goal. I alternate ChaLean Extreme and Brazil Butt Lift during the week and run on the weekends.

I've always loved the sight of my feet against the backdrop of the sky as I come into the forward upswing on a swing set. Even as a little girl, it captivated me. I'd have painted it myself by now but I have no artistic talent.

Bumping to watch after work.

Bumping for the sewing lesson. Thanks!

I did the same thing at first. If the way she wrote it is correct, it should be r = (si)/((6+i)^n -6)
-
I think it may be more complicated on that, depending on how the problem is supposed to read. OP originally posted s=(r((6+i)^n-6))/i followed by s=r(6+i)^n-6) then that all over "i" as a fraction In the second version, there is one too many ")". In the first, if accurate, the entire ((6+i)^n-6) would be multiplied by "r",…

Seriously? Can we please stop pretending that sexual attraction has nothing to do with "superficial" things like looks? Maybe weight gain wouldn't bother everyone, but I think there are quite a few people, both men and women (myself included) that are turned off when the person we're with starts gaining a lot of weight. It…

Bumping to save recipe. Thanks!

Lol, not hating on guys with mohawks, tats, or piercings. Just an example of contrasting appearances.

I know I'm going to catch hell for this, but the guy's got a good point. It's not realistic to act like marriage is based strictly on love and that love should be enough to make it work. To at least some degree, most marriages involve a level of sexual attraction as well. If the person you marry lets themselves go (I'm…

I've made these before for a friend. Delicious, but on the verge of cookie overkill.

In for the RDJ pics and videos that I'll have to watch when I get home. And if it hasn't been said already, Chris Hemsworth (Thor)... mmmmmm.

Bumping for yummy goodness later.

I was thinking that too! I run a 10-minute mile, so you're walking a 5k in only 5 minutes more than I'd run it. You'd blow me out of the water if you ever started running. That's fantastic! To the OP: forget what your friend said, sign up for the 5k, and have a blast!

I should get up and exercise before work BUT... I need that extra 9 minutes of sleep... and 9 more after that. I'm going to stop eating all this junk food BUT... I'm going to finish up the stuff I already bought. I could just be happy that I've reached my goal weight and look better than ever BUT... I'm working towards…
