I'm finding that meal prepping is absolutely the way to go. I cook as much as I can on the weekends and eat leftovers during the week. I think having some cute lunchboxes help too! I log my food at the beginning of the day, so I know exactly what I need to eat/burn off so I can be at my goal. Just take it a day at a time…

This is so important to remember. Just because you slipped doesn't mean your whole day/week is ruined. Your body doesn't care whether you're consistently there or not. Every healthy thing you eat is worth it. And everything unhealthy thing hurts you.

I'm having the same problem. I don't secret eat for my boyfriend, but just for others in general. If my roommate is out of town, I stock up on sweets! It's ridiculous. Logging your food is definitely key. And think about exercising as stress relief. I'm a crazy stress eater. But think about food as being your fuel for…

Use exercise to burn off some steam! And eating well actually puts me in a better mood. Try out some new recipes with your kids and make it into a game and a distraction. And go on a walk or bike ride with your guys! And about the working out at night time, I like doing yoga before bed. It gets me worked up and uses my…

Protein coming from anywhere is good. Lean meat is only so you can get the protein with not too many calories and fat.

I'm in the same situation. I basically just have to make my own food even though my family always cooks a really unhealthy dinner every night. After about a week of being strong and telling them that you don't want the food they're eating, they'll become used to it. They might even be inspired by your weight loss! That's…

I totally agree with the first post! That's what I'm aiming for. I want natural foods to go into my body that fuel my energy and don't weigh me down. I've lost the first 18 pounds doing this and I hope it will continue! Thanks for sharing!

I agree with previous post. I like to eat my starch for the day during lunch! A wrap or bread slices are enough carbs for the day and don't leave you only eating carbs for an entire meal.

Hmmmmm perhaps!

Hmm maybe, very pretty eyes!

I wouldn't be worried about the binge calories, but I would be worried about the sugar intake and how yo-yo your diet is. Try to cut out the sweets and replace it with fruit. It takes a while for your body to get used to not having sugar, but you can totally kick the habit!

I call it a cheat because I haven't quite gotten to the point where eating healthy is a habit. I'm still working on that. So I'm starting to moderate my unhealthy eating to one meal a week. I used to basically eat whatever I wanted on the weekends, but I realized that will probably cancel out all my good eating during the…

I have a similar schedule to you. I have to get up at 5:45am to get to work (my commute is at least an hour). And then I don't get home until 7pm, which is when I want to eat dinner. My gym closes at 8pm and it's also dark at that time too. So what I'm trying now is some short yoga sessions before bed. It makes me feel so…

MFP has me at 1400 calories a day because I'm sedentary at my job. It's difficult because I'm used to eating so many calories. But I try to eat as many veggies and lean meats as possible because they are low-cal and keep me full! The worst are high carb foods because they're calories dense and leave me hungry in a few…

Hello everyone! I'm Angela, 22 years old, and I have about 40 pounds to lose. I just graduated college and am starting the job hunt. It's super difficult to eat healthy when I have to live with my parents before I can save enough money to move out. Any support and motivation would be appreciated, and I'll reciprocate!…

Thanks for much for your input! I went to the grocery store and bought rice, frozen green beans, strawberries (on sale), and some whole grain bread. I already have some peanut butter and normal butter for the toast. It should last me a few more days!

I'm so in! I've been mostly dieting and counting calories since New Years, but am slowly starting to add exercise. I've found that I really like Pilates and Yoga, and going for long walks. I usually weigh in everyday because my weight doesn't really fluctuate day-to-day. That way when I lose a little bit, it's so exciting!…

I'm in the same boat. I'm constantly thinking about food, whether it's boredom or sadness driven. What i've been trying to do recently is to change my obsession into one of fitness and nutrition. Be obsessed with healthy foods and finding new exercises to try. Also, talk to your friends and family about your weight loss…

You can do this! Add me and I can perhaps help!
