I worry about it a lot, because it happened to me. I lost 68 pounds, and then regained 40 of it back (over a year). I'm now back on track, and have lost 6 pounds so far, but it still concerns me, so I'm trying to figure out 'why' I did this to myself, kwim?

Put the baby in a stroller and go for a LONG walk :) As far as food, you can still make the things your husband wants, just put less on your plate, and try to stay away from the things that are high in carbs/sugar, etc. It takes time, but you can do it :)

I'm not recommending that you delay starting B/P meds if that's what the doctor thinks you should do, ....but (having said that) I've been able to reduce the amount (dosage) I take by half, by dropping weight and watching my salt, etc. It CAN be done. Good luck :)

Well, I'm back from vacation, and although I did pretty well while I was gone, I've had a hard time giving up the 'vacation style eating' since I've been home :( I was 146.4 this morning, but I've done a lot better the last couple of days, ....and I'm ready to get 'serious' again :) Hope everyone has a great week!

Sorry I'm late! Yesterdays weight was 137.4 I'm leaving on vacation today, so I won't be able to weight in next week, but I'll be back at it the following week :)

First off, 'congratulations on losing the first 22 pounds, thats great! Sometimes it can take a while for it to be ''noticeable'. I know it took at least 30-40 lbs. for me & it will depend on how much you need to lose, how tall you are, bone structure, etc....but just don't give up, because you WILL start to see it…
