Because guns are safe when used by Law-abiding citizens. It's just that we have cowards running our Governments and are afraid to take on the "Drug Lords" for fear of repercussions. There are plenty of laws on the books that prevent or deter the buying and selling of weapons here in the US, but, alas, again not enough…
