AMAZING! Great Work! BRAVO!

For roughly the same you can get a HRM that will accurately track your burn. The HRM is a better investment, IMHO.

I don't eat a lot of sugary things, so I don't need to watch the intake. I care more about other aspects of my diet.

I live in rural NH, crime is low. I lock my valuables in the trunk and hide the key in the unlocked car. I'd probably do the same anywhere else, but I make sure nothing valuable is in the passenger area of the car. I also make sure the the car is clean and clutter free, it doesn't attract attention that way.

AWESOME! I wash mine with other tees and light-weight clothing. Regular detergent, NO fabric softner. That stuff ruins wicking material (makes it so it doesn't really wick anymore).

HAHA!

If I don't drink it, my body knows. I drink A LOT! My secret is drinking it from a cool cup, and making sure that if I'm behind on the water intake that I drink at least 8 ounces before I can eat a meal. I also live 45 minutes away from home, so on the commutes I make myself sip water, I can usually get 3 cups down in the…

FACT! This is a great thread!

Make a healthy cake recipe and put it into small cup cakes. This will control the portions. Skip the frosting on all of them, keep enough out for you and the family and freeze the rest in single serving sizes.
-
Skip the chips and salsa, don't have a drink, and eat a 1/2 portion of the burrito...consider asking them to hold the cheese they usually smother it with.

1. This is true for me. 89% of people who have posted pictures on here have been at thier goal weight at one point in time in their adult life, or highschool aged (don't know what to call that) life. So it's kind of like its a do-over. They've been there once, they know they can do it, and they did it again. Big whoop. 2.…

They are fatty tissue, if you're burning fat, they are going to lose their shape. It is a part of weightloss.

It is a locker room, people are going to be naked, and they will hang out naked IN the locker room. To some, it is just like being naked at home. I don't see why you'd adjust your workout routine to avoid said naked person in the locker room...cause you'll just find more annoying ones that do other things.

What are you eating? What's your activity like? Calories in, calories out. In general, the first part of the weight will come off quickly and then you'll start to level off - at least that has been my exerience.
-
I think you need to take a look at what you're eating! Oddly, I eat 1200 calories a day, and I exercise 3-4 times per week, and burn about 300-450 calories each time I work out. I don't replace what I burn working out, I may eat 100 extra calories and that's it. On the days I do not work out I am more hungry. If I ate what…

I HIGHLY recommend what she suggested. If I'm going out to eat, I start googling food values to help me make my decision on what I plan to eat for the day. It helps me make better choices.

On the brink? I'd say already there.....seriously.

I read a bit of your diary because I was curious about what you're eating. I don't see how it is healthy...there has to be something you're doing to your body internally that you cannot see or be aware of at your age. You're doing the damage now, and the effects will hit you later. Meanwhile, it looks like you're doing…

Why would you do this? If you only eat 500 calories you will not be able to exercise. I think you'll be doing some permanent damage to yourself by trying this one out. The key to a healthy lifestyle is a balanced diet and exercise. You won't be getting that with this set up. Is this an "easy" way out? And by easy, I mean…

Knock it off. Doing that will make you gain weight, lose muscle and soon you'll have cottage cheese on your *kitten*. Seriously!? Get with the program! HAHA - in all seriousness. Work on having one good day at a time. Start tomorrow!

What are you eating? Are you getting your heart rate up for 30 minutes during your walk? Calories in, calories out. You should be running a deficit to lose. I dunno what your food plan is like, but fruits, veggies, protein, low and startches, and cooking with raw ingredients. These are all things you can do to help jump…

The Longhorn or Outback serve that. A local restaurant near me also does that, but I'm pretty sure you're not local to me!

This is a pretty good description, however I might suggest dropping the startches/grains at the end of the day. My trainer has always said to eat your "carbs" (startches and whole grains) between breakfast, lunch, and snacks, and to avoid evening carbs at night. You can fill in by having double portions of veggies at…

Nice work! I can see a huge difference. :o)

The pinch test is the most accurate way to determine how much body fat/muscle mass you have.

My trainer thinks it is an unhealthy mindset if you have a "bad" food day, and then try to recover from it by exercising - her opinion is that exercising after the fact isn't going to "burn" whatever it is that you ate that was "bad." A correctly portioned ice cream sundae you earned because you exercised is one thing, I…
