I have noticed this since I started at MFP! I eat slower and tell myself that I can eat whatever it is again at another time, and remind ME to enjoy the taste while it lasts! I have eaten less, lost weight and enjoy eating more this way! Good advice!

I was having difficulty seeing the changes in the mirror....then my work ID badge broke and when I looked at it, I couldn't believe the difference! I asked if I could take a new pic LOL

I always make sure to try and plan for a dinner out or family gathering by having my favorite healthy foods readily available for breakfast and lunch during the weekends. This way, if I need to make up calories towards the end of the day, I am better able to balance the whole day! I always make sure that I have salad ready…

Make sure you are eating at least one half of your exercise calories back. If you don't, your body can actually start to gain weight thinking that it is in a starvation mode! Try it, and see if it helps :happy:

Seeing the scale at a doctor appointment. I was like, what do you mean I weigh THAT much?!?! Ate like a pig that night, and then it has been good ever since! I am happy to report that I am 18 lbs down, and looking forward to losing a lot more :D Good for you that you found your breaking point and started getting healthier!

Hey! I talked to a close friend of mine who has been a nurse for a very long time. I told her that I had the same issue, and she told me not to worry about it! If you feel full, have eaten healthy items all day, the calories do not matter as much. Just don't starve yourself in the process. Please do not consume more…
