anything like that i just log as aerobics general for how many minutes it is. i don't usually count the whole length of the dvd because it includes warm up and cool down times, and you're not burning as many calories during that time. i like to under-estimate when possible.

love, love, LOVE my george! we cook lots of stuff on it, but my fave is probably just a good 'ole burger! i find that it's hard to pan cook or BBQ the lean ground beef...either it doesn't end up "done" enough or it's dry and hard as a hockey puck. but not george burger!!! YUMMM-YYY!!!

RIGHT ON, SISTER!!! :drinker:

uh, yeah... i'm 36 (37 this summer) and for the first time in my adult life, i totally plan on rocking a 2-piece! i was never happy with my body before when i was "young" enough...but i have worked really hard and will be at goal weight by this summer...so BRING ON THE SWIM SUIT SEASON, BABY! besides, from some of…

we always plan out our menu for the week in advance. but we did this even before i really started focusing on my calorie intake. i guess mostly we're just as obsessive about keeping our grocery budget under control as i now am about getting my daily calorie goal met. i've just never been able to wrap my head around…

measure!!! obsessively!

163.8 this week 6/7 water 6/7 exercise 7/7 food

instant oatmeal w/peanut butter scooped in after you've cooked it. you get that yummy melty peanut-buttery goodness going on, and it fits the bill for carbs, proteins, and fats. =)

well, it's tuesday... this morning's weight 165.8 (UP!?!) obviously i sucked at drinking my water...2/7 cardio 7/7 under cals 7/7 irritating bc just yesterday (and yes, i weigh myself every day) i weighed 164.8. but i had a really crappy water day. my "official" weigh in day for myself is tomorrow, so i'm going to be…

that's awesome! congratulations on your success so far, and keep up the great work!

well, my body finally recognized that it owed me some weight loss after losing only 1 pound in two weeks. as of today i am at 165.5, which is down from last week's 171.2! woo hoo! water was better but still a little sketchy, i'll say a conservative 4/7 days cardio 7/7 under calories 7/7

totally threw the weigh-in, i have no doubt in my mind. i love that jillian called them on it and didn't back down! i have disliked the red team from the beginning. seems to me that they are really in it for the $$$ and not so much about actually making the life change needed to get healthy.

171.2. UGH!!!
-
172.0 this morning. my body just didn't want to shed any weight this week, even though i was right on target w/diet and exercise. i guess there's next week!!! =) i worked out 6 of the 7 days this week i probably only got my water in 3 days (which is prolly why my weight went nowhere...)

I know that I personally have been extremely cold for this whole winter so far. My body simply cannot adjust to the loss of all of that insulation!!! Warm hands and warm feet = a warmer me...so fuzzy warm socks, slippers, a cup of something warm to hold & sip on, and a blankie!!!!!!!!

as of this morning, 172.2

LOL...yes, I love that commercial!!! Not only my family, but even my coworkers know not to mess with me until I've had my coffee!

Totally agree with what's been said. And my kids know by now if they ask me for a bite of something on my plate, I will tell them no. It's already been measured and logged and it's mine! There's usually extra, so I just tell them to go get their own! =) charity

I love-love-love my coffee too...I really like flavored creamers, so I switched to International Delight French Vanilla (sugar free) - 20 cals & 2 g fat per tbsp. I think it tastes better than the fat free versions do.

...and that right there....makes me want to PUKE. that's about all i have to say about that.

i'd love to join, if i still can. big fan of the show!!! my weight this morning was 176.4.

That's awesome--congrats! Your goal is lofty but DO-ABLE!!! Way to go, you! :flowerforyou:

Mine actually went really well. I made a plan and stuck with it. That's a huge victory for me and my over-eating compulsion that I've battled for so long! I was surprised at how satisfied I still was, with so much less than normal on my plate. Yay!!! I'm really proud of myself! =) Either way, it's a NEW DAY, everyone!…
-
WOW!!! Congratulations! I hope to be joining you very soon myself!!

I totally agree!!! The things I am eating are the things I am making and am in control of. I have already logged AND PRINTED my food plan for tomorrow, and the only deviation from the plan will be snacking on raw veggies if I get the munchies while cooking / setting up. People may thing I'm crazy or overboard, but I have…
