shiseido_faerie, I'm curious to know if you kept at the raw veggies and if it got better over time? I just started trying to eat a bunch of raw veggies and my stomach is killing me! I want to stick with this if possible, assuming that it's supposed to get better!

I am not vegetarian nor do I ever plan to be. However, this food looks nothing short of FREAKING AMAZING, and I plan on trolling through that blog of yours and trying out some of these recipes! Thanks for sharing, and please keep updating your blog!!!

I drink about 24oz (2 big cups) with 1T flavored creamer in each cup daily. I DO NOT leave the house until I've had my coffee. I consider this my daily public service to the world. After that, I drink water for the rest of the day...unless I'm seriously dragging at work, then I might tap into my "emergency stash" (instant…

unfortunately, i do weigh myself every day...i'd like to be able to stop that but i'm not sure that i can. i justify it in my head because if i gain 4 or 5 pounds in a day (and that really does happen to me), i know that it's because i'm retaining water...whereas if i weigh myself once a week and it just so happens that…

maybe i should add that i also recently added a double-scoop of protein shake every day after exercise (52g of protein plus the protein that's in the 16oz of milk i drink it with) and that my doctor said it's still not even close to being enough...i do weight training 3 times per week and i run anywhere from 4 to 10 miles…

i'd recommend getting a reliable heart rate monitor. then you can create your own exercises in mfp and plug in the correct amount of calories burned each time.

GLEE!!! my family was hooked with one episode (re-run) this summer. we immediately rented the whole first season in dvd's and hoping to catch up on season 2 before season 3 starts here in a bit. the only other show that i would really put in the "guilty" pleasure category is Bridezillas! i am always amazed at how these…

thanks for the instructions! giving this a try for my first time, hopefully it works!! this is basically where i started, march 2009. i had lost maybe 30 pounds so far. i'm with my very pregnant daughter (and yes, i'm bigger than she is...) Christmas 2009 made my hubby take new "skinny" pics of me...march 2010 "prom" with…

so i did weigh in this morning and was 149.2...which may or may not be down from the last time i posted a weight here. i really have no idea anymore! the BL finale was awesome. i was kinda rooting for ashley but not surprised that mike won. they all look amazing and as always, it was very inspiring! =) charity

sorry, girls... i know i have dropped off of the face of the planet basically with posting my weight. the thing is, that i am basically considering myself to be at goal right now, and my weight has been fluctuating a little bit within a couple of pounds. i am trying to not be so obsessed with weighing myself in every day,…

i'm actually only 5'3" myself, so according to BMI i'm still overweight. but i'm trying really hard to not let those numbers get inside my head. i know that i am more than healthy according to body fat percentage, so i'm resting my hat on that.
-
my weight was 149.2 this morning. i am honestly pretty much done losing, so i'm figuring as long as i am below 150, i am mentally ok...size 6 is small enough for me!!!

CC - I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well! I hope that you and your doctors get it figured out soon and that you have a speedy recovery! :flowerforyou:
-
congrats for making your goal, CC!!! I'm not sure if going for more weight loss is the answer to your toning problem. i'm wondering if you put yourself on maintenance mode on here and continue with your workout regimen if you can continue to tone without consciously trying to lose weight. I forgot to post my weight earlier…

i love this! makes perfect sense!

-
this week's weight 152.8...that's up 0.4 pounds. up for the second week in a row... :explode:
-
today's weigh-in = 152.4 - up one pound from last week. i am actually alright with this...for the last several months, i have not been eating my exercise calories, and after last week's weigh-in, with me being 2 pounds away from my goal, i started eating them. i think my body is still trying to figure it out...my weight…

I was pretty sure that it's the opposite...the less you weigh, the less calories burned. Are you sure your heart rate avg and max were the same on both runs?
-
weight this week 151.4!! down 4.8 pounds this week!
-
156.2 this morning. i'm 7/7 for logging food, but so far this is not shaping up to be a good exercise week for me, as i've been kind of sickly.

 BTW, that's my husband everyone, so he is TOTALLY allowed to call me that! LOL
-
you know, that's interesting, and to an extent (i don't think it was deliberate or that he was even really aware of it) but my husband used to do that too. we actually talked about that recently and kind of came to terms with the situation. i do think that he probably feels safer and more secure in the relationship if you…

157.0 this week! down 2lbs even from last week. logged 7/7 days. =) charity

thanks, everyone! to answer questions... i re-started in january '09 (later in the month), so it's been just about 14 months now. i don't know that i honestly have any "secrets" other than what you all know already. i log my food religiously...(i'm not necessarily advocating this as i know i have seen many posts to the…

thanks, sportsqueen! :blushing: i have another 20-some-odd pounds that i want to lose, and my hubby and i are training to run a half marathon in september, which is the big reason we'd like to track our distances. but i'd also like something more accurate along the calorie burn side too. we found the garmin forerunner 60…
