I got my wife interested in running/jogging as a lifestyle change. She saw how I was dropping weight and decided to join me. I do watch people at times when I run on the dreadmill. An hour of running gets boring, no matter how good the tunes are in my earbuds. I try not to stare, but observe technique. Sometimes I find myself zoned out and staring into space and realize there is someone that moved into the area where I'm staring. Always makes me…

A couple cups of coffee before the gym or run in the mornings. I hate working out in the afternoons, so if I have to, I need something like iced coffee or a Monster Zero.

My first HM was prolly 12 years ago. I generally have the same goal for every new kind or distance of race, don't finish last! I quit running, gained a bunch of weight and am getting back to running. Aiming for a < 1hr 10k in July. Not sure I will ever do HM or full M again, but enjoying 10k distances.

5.3 miles on treadmill today. I'm a little pissed, my Jaybird X2 headphones won't hold a charge more than 10 minutes and they are only 5 months old! Charged all night, powered on at home, turned them off. drove to gym 5 mins away, won't power on. Grrr...
