Like @MADDIESMOMMY6611 and @jupdyke, my health has been my biggest issue too. When I have health issues, my resolve dissolves. Thankfully, I am well now and ready to get serious for June. I am a little over half-way to my goal and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

If I eat any sugar, sugar substitutes or flour then the cravings continue. It took me about three months to completely feel victory over cravings and to rewire my brain. Tough situation. Hopefully, you can get on your own feet soon. Would it be possible to get your pediatrician to agree that your daughter needs to cut back on sugar, flour, and processed foods? Maybe your dad will be willing to do it for his granddaughter's health if he understands that it's coming from a doctor.

Today I played basketball for the first time in about 3 years! I have had lots of injuries and put on lots of weight but today I felt happy and light even though I still have a good bit of weight to lose. I also stayed within my carb, calorie and abstinence goals.

Ok. It's Sunday where I am so I'm posting. Most of you are probably still asleep. I have bronchitis and feel terrible. I got on the scales and gained weight! Glad to be in this group. I am learning that a lot of my compulsive eating, food addiction, low immunity can be traced back to years of emotional turmoil in relationships. I am glad to be moving to the point of being myself again! Looking forward to losing it with y'all.
