I eat SOME of my exercise calories back. MFP says I should eat 1630 cals, which is already a 500 calorie deficit of my BMR, but I try to stay closer to 1500. I weigh and measure ALL of my food, but I'm concerned that some of the calories on this site may not be very accurate so I try to keep a "just in case" cushion. I…

The only meal I replace with a shake is breakfast. My second shake is between lunch and dinner (just soy milk and powder). I eat lunch and dinner everyday and have had success. I needed to do something I can do for the rest of my life, not just until the weight comes off so that is what works for me. Good luck! -Stacey

It really does come down to calories in vs calories burned. Herbalife isn't necessarily a magic formula. I am watching my calories via MFP and supplementing with the Herbalife shakes. I like food and like to eat, but I don't feel deprived with these shakes because I'm only using one as a meal replacement (breakfast) and…

Feel free to add me. I joined last year, but stopped using the site and app after a few months. I came back to my senses about a month ago, so I need some new friends too to keep me motivated! :))

Request sent...I'm looking for more friends on here too. :)

Howdy from California! :) Just joined this group and looking for friends to keep me motivated!! Trying to get to a healthier weight and in better shape....it's much harder on this side of 40. I've been using the app for a while, but I, too, am just starting to use the groups and message boards and I joined the 50 miles in…

My husband and I have just stared with using only the perimeter of the store too. Thanks for the tips...I did not know caramel color was not GF. I've found my local market is starting to carry more GF items (frozen and otherwise), so that helps a bit. I'm taking much longer at the market though because I'm constantly…

michcat17 - there is a book called "Eat Right for Your Blood Type" by Peter D'Adamo. A coworker told me about it. She lost over 70 pounds and has maintained her weight for over 10 years following the diet for her blood type. If that isn't a success story, then I don't know what is and I want that kind of success!! lol I'm…

Well, I got a Fitbit for my birthday earlier this month so I guess I should put it to good use!! I'm in!!

JenLynn - I don't know what everyone else does, but I try to still get close to my calorie goal because I don't want to throw my body into starvation mode. Even so, I usually end up with 300-400 (sometimes a bit more) extra calories by the end of the day. My calorie goal is higher than yours right now though. I've only…

I weighed in again this morning for my 7 follow-up and I'm down another 1.4 pounds even with having my monthly visitor! YAY!!

I just started with Herbalife on Tuesday. My husband and I stumbled upon one of their nutrition clubs on our walk Monday morning. I went in this morning for my 3 day follow-up and I am down 5 pounds and 10.5 inches through my midsection! I'm using 2 shakes a day, plus the tea and aloe water. No supplements. I agree that I…

I'm fairly new as well (to GF and MFP). Just went GF a few weeks ago. I'm not a celiac, but find that my allergies have almost gone now and I just feel better in general since making the change. I'm following (loosely) the Blood Type Diet and my blood type (O) should be GF. Anyone should feel free to add me so we can cheer…

I'm 5"4" too. My goal is to lose 75 lbs when it's all said and done. I am currently at 250 lbs and I am just trying to get under 200 first. I've yoyo'd dieted for years, worked with trainers, etc and they all work while I'm doing but life happens. So, I'm trying to figure out a way to reach my goal and keep on track. With…

When I was doing the Atkins Diet, one of the things he mentioned in his book is to grab a handful of peanuts when you have a sweet craving. The nuts are a good source of protein and have a natural sweetness that comes through as you chew them. It always worked for me. Also, I am currently working with a trainer that has me…
