I love fish, tuna and swordfish are very 'meaty' in texture salmon is gorgeous and the oily fish are beneficial. Sea bass and monk fish are lovely too without being too fishy.

I love running! I find it mentally relaxing because I just sink into a pace and a comfortable breathing pattern and I can just go on and on. I totally zone out when running and my brain just relaxes and wanders. The running community is so fab too, really supportive!

I think as a rule just always weigh yourself on the same scales for consistency

Hi and welcome, feel free to add me if you wish! :flowerforyou:

For me, the key to succeeding in this is planning and making sure you have at least the next day's meals planned and the food in for it, it takes the whole 'what to have' dilemma out of it and you're less likely to snack. There will be days like that but the next day is a blank page ready for you to succeed :o)

Hi, you've come to the right place for support! Have a look in the groups and see if any others have husbands or partners on deployment too!

It makes sense that you'd be in a bad mood when you're hungry, your blood sugar will be low, try eating more slow energy release foods
-
Hi, I wonder if it's with it being gluten free that it's not as filling as regular pasta? Try something that really fills you up for breakfast that is slow energy release like porridge
-
I've cut bread and tea and coffee, once I got past the 5 day intense headache after giving up tea & coffee I felt miles better! I'm drinking boiled water with a squeeze of lemon instead!

I suffer from dry skin on my feet and cracked heels too, just keep a regular routine of filing the skin down and moisturising, the best foot file I've found is the Leighton Denny one!
-
I find it easier to drink my water boiled with a small wedge of lemon squeezed into it! :o)
-
I'll be charging up my ipod today, I'm going back to running club tomorrow! :oD
