Oh that's cool. I just started using kik and wondered if anyone from mfp used it to keep in closer contact with members/make friends. I've seen a lot of members with 100+ people on their friends list and wondered about the level of interaction, support, etc.

I could not give up meat. Nope. But I do watch what kind of meats I eat.

I'm in the same boat. I've been overeating for the past 2 weeks and can't seem to control myself :(. And I overeat/binge eat when I'm stressed out or upset. Been trying to re-discipline myself and get back on track.

I've never been rejected because of my weight...actually the opposite, which is weird to me because I always thought guys only liked slim & trim women. Even so they didn't see past appearance.

I'm sorry about your Grandfather. I understand what you mean. I suffer from depression and anxiety as well. And diabetes and cancer runs in my family. Talk to your doctor and start making changes today. It's never too late to start getting as healthy as possible.

Like everyone above said, your WHY is important. Try writing down 5 things you want to be able to do / 5 reasons you want to lose weight. Could be something like: 1. Walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath 2. Feel more energetic, etc Start with small steps, like just going for a 10 minute walk with an upbeat…

You have a weight bench? Nice! Do you have free weights as well? There are a lot of videos online for beginner strength/weight training with exercises. You could follow those videos to get started.
