Don't run on a treadmill its so hard to get past the mental block of how long you can run. I can run nearly 4k outside, I struggle to run 1k on the treadmill. AARRRRGGGHHHHH Get a new trainer!! I hate the "lose weight first then lift" idea! It just makes it so much harder as you'll have less muscle then, If you start now it will help you to maintain the muscle you still have and improve your strength so when you're ready to build muscle it will be easier!

Realistically the healthy range is quite a tough goal. I would say try and lose some weight first just because of the health risks and complications being far higher at your weight. Don't make your goal too hard though that you'll give up easily. I recommend you get a professional opinion though just to be safe. Good luck…

I would say no because if it's for your wedding you want to look beautiful not ill. Drastic weightloss like that will probably leave you looking quite awful gaunt grey and just generally ill because you'll have lost so much muscle too. I have heard about running damaging joints in the long term. So wear and tear being more aggressive than those who don't exercise so vigorously could suggest not living so long? But there are sooooooo many other factors and the fact death is inevitable its just a pointless argument.
