Okay, well as I say I have only been at this for a month. I think I'm still struggling to accept the concept of the workout, I've always been more cardio orientated and finished a workout sweaty and knackered working with a high heart rate and eating low calories. The transition of trying to accept eating more and working…

That sounds like a similar trait to an eating disorder. If you have been a person who has never allowed yourself to feel hungry then I can understand why getting there might feel like something you should celebrate but if your still holding off from eating then I see no sense in that at all.

I have the polar ft7 got from Amazon for about £60, I love it! Has a few more features than the ft4. But if I was to get another one, I will be spending more for probably garmin with gps.

Nothing about weightloss is ever consistent

Well what a waste of typing that was. I have a food processor if I want a smoothie.

OP Has a life, went to eat some food, went to bed, got up and saw to my horses, went to college and ate some more. As said before I have no intention of juice fasting, nor did I say I thought the documentary was right, but what I did think was some of the things the documentary made me think about as its not strictly about…

Obviously not been here for a while.. Forgot no one could read nor discuss.. Woops, I'll go elsewhere.

Feel free to add me I'm getting back on track tomorrow and hitting the gym!!

Running is way more mental than physical. I set mini goals like "the next road end" "hey I don't think I'm going to die, maybe the next one" I also use a HRM as I have learnt what my heart rate is when I can run longer and when I feel like I might die. I find it extremely useful!!

I don't mind because I feel proud of myself and how I've done. 165lbs down to 143ish

You're 5'6?!?! You fully should be eating more, and remember exercise can be a diet suppressant therefore you might not "feel" hungry but it doesn't mean your not. If your not netting atleast 1200 locals find some calorie dense foods to bump your net up like peanut butter.

This If you're really starting from scratch I think insanity now would make you quit. Ease into it. 30DS is easy compare to insanity.

I lost a 1.5lbs one day just from having a poop and a pee. No joke.

Your body might be asking for more energy if on working days you work hard. Calories are energy.
-
You can't tone fat, you grow it or burn it. Definition comes from removing the fat on top of the muscle. To maintain muscle it is suggested you eat a good amount of protein but you would also need to mix in some strength training to your cardio. It takes a lot to look like a body builder.

Yes. That's what I did last time I lost weight, this time however I enjoy being more active. As long as you reduce your calorie intake to below your output you will lose weight. I strongly recommend a heart rate monitor to get accurate calorie burns. Personally I like the polar ft7 but there are cheaper alternatives such…

Bookmarked! Thanks

+1 But I'd also like to add that not everyone is built to have a six pack as such and some people, no matter what they do, will never have one because you can't show something that isn't there. Not everyone has the muscle definition there.
-
I would say your rest days are allowing your body to recover and then result in a better workout each time.
-
Don't judge yourself on "the burn" as you body gets stronger and used to exercise you will get it less and less, this does not mean you are not pushing yourself! if mentally you feel you have done a good work out you shouldn't need to measure it by "the burn"
-
Well done and you did it over fifteen months, so much more sustainable! You're in it for the long haul! Good luck!
-
Congrats!! I'm about 3-5lbs (depending on the day) off being BMI healthy :)
-
I won't lie I was starting to worry..
-
Do you not get student membership?! My gym does half price for students.

Those 30 day challenges are a bad idea either start a proper weightlifting routine or proper body weight circuits.
-
I find my energy levels when I work out are greatly affected by what I eat. For example If i eat a lot of low cal food and then go to combat I'll do a great burn but if I eat a little high cal food I completely burn out at combat. Same amount of calories just different ways of consuming them. This is just my experience…

Non-applicator tampons FTW I find applicators tend to 'ram' them into the wrong place making them uncomfortable. Non-applicator you can wiggle into place more gently so you won't notice them.

On the triathlon front. I am twenty years old and haven't had a bike since primary (about 11yo) when I used to ride every day no hands etc. Two days ago I bought a bike and went a cycle. It was terrifying, so much so I just didn't indicate because there was no way I was lifting a hand off the handlebars. Moral of the story…

okay wheatabix x 2 and 250ml milk = 200kcal Chicken pasta salad = 350kcal Spaghetti bolognaise = 400kcals muller yoghurt = 100kcals That's over 1000kcals ... Also we're not hating on slimming world we're hating on your "junk food makes you fat" attitude because its incorrect. Calories make you fat. I've lost 18lbs this…
