  • Hello all!! I'm sad to say that I've not followed most of last month, things have been a bit hectic and I've not had that much time on my hands. I promise to keep in touch this month with all your goings on  I'm not feeling great this week as I have a cold that is refusing to budge. :grumble: But I'm…
  • I too have limited space... I have a lateral thigh trainer, it's small enough to keep in the living room and quiet enough to not disturb neighbours and my son asleep at night!! So I second this idea :o) I also do a selection on workout DVD's and Yoga DVD's, most of these will be a good workout with only a small amount of…
  • Not missing the point. The point is if you want to loose weight you have to make changes, permenant changes. You can do it quickly and you'll slow your metabolism for a short while but your body can only hold on to so much for so long and if your actually serious about getting that weight off and keeping it off the quicker…
  • WHOOH!! You can barely make out it's him!! I think he'll look realistic for the part he's playing, he really does look ill. I'll bet he can regain that weight in a month. Thanks for sharing KP xxx:flowerforyou:
  • This statement is SIMPLY NOT TRUE !!!! If you eat healthy well choosen foods and take regular exercise you WILL be fine  I have abs not a pot belly !!! lol Some peoples bodies demand less calories than others. FACT!! Each to their own!!
  • I have always eaten under my calorie allowance since joining in january, (apart from a short spell where I tested out the eat more loose more - to my horror!! - it did not work for me AT ALL!!) I'm only maintaining my weight. I'm petite and choose my foods carefully, I don't eat a lot of rubbish, I mostly eat good healthy…
  • Welcome to MFP  I'm all to familiar to useless GP's, they have ignored my stomach problems for over 10 years, I hope I have now found the answer myself - through trial and error. I seem to have wheat/gluten issues. GP's seem to be uninterested unless they are able to prescribe a medication for me. I never got any…
  • My son and I seem to have issues with wheat gluten. We've been wheat free for months and we feel a lot better. So many people have issues with food now.
  • It's easier to build muscle if you have a covering of fat in the area you want to build, I reckon bulk up now. Good luck with your next goal :o)
  • If you are feeling cold a lot then do stick with it, this passes. It's just a signal that your body is going through a change, you will adjust to your new lower weight fully and feel fine in the winter.
  • Ignore them and the next time someone says something negative say "ah shut up!!" You don't look underweight to me at all. I get that all the time and it bugs me too, I do this for me and want to be healthy and slim for me, not to get negative (or even positive one either come to think of it) remarks from others and I FEEL…
  • Hey  I'm not, no. I play a keyboard which controls lighting in a nightclub. Cool job!! It's known as a 'light jockey' I love it
  • I never actually manage to keep the lost weight off til I loose the bigger clothes. I would say you should go through all you clothes pick out the stuff you comfortable fit into and put those in your wardrobe. The rest devide into stuff your scared of chucking and stuff you don't care about, give the stuff you don't care…
  • Yep  I'm From Epping, Essex
  • Thanks Ed!! It's nice to be praised for our everyday duties. My son deserves a good Mum. I do it all for him, to make sure he grows up right, happy and secure. He's well worth all my efforts. I feel really lucky to have him, he's the best kid in the world  ... to me!! I  MY BOY!!
  • That's fantastic, I totally understand!! You deserve a NEW DRESS in... SIZE 8!! Go treat yourself next time you get the chance  Well done, you have earned it
  • Peel them, pop them in a freezer bag and freeze them, then you can use them at your leisure in smoothies and juices!! I always save mine from the bin this way... and frozen banana makes the smoothie more creamy
  • YAY!! you made it!! And such steady weight loss, you must be feeling great :o) I'm sure you'll reach your next goal just as quickly. You've done so well, keep up the good work :o)
  • If you think your eating enough food and to eat more would be 'too much food' then don't eat anymore. I tried out and tested the 'eat more loss more' theory and it did not work for me. I gained weight over three months (double the time it's supposed to turn and you start loosing again.), my weight went back up to my…
  • I say go for it!! If you feel like exercising more then do. I find once you start you can really get into it and enjoy it. Have a pre/ post workout smoothie to fuel your body and help build muscles. Try mine... Chocolate PB 200mls of sweetened soya milk - more protein, less carbs/cals and healthier than regular…
  • I'm afraid the bit 'with three sugars' is bad. Sorry hun :o( Can't you cut down to 1? Or use splenda sweetener? It takes a while but you'll get used to it and like the taste after a while. I used to drink tea and coffee with 2-3 sugars. Each cup is around 60 cals!!!! that's 180 -240 cals just in tea!!!! I don't have that…

  • What about a lovely homemade smoothie, that's what I'm going to have, taste wicked and really healthy and satisfiying. Add a tbsp of soya protein powder for added protein and to keep you really full up til dinner time ;o) Or if your out then maybe have a chicken salad, even mcdonalds do a helathy one, the grilled chicken…
  • I'm going to try that for my breakfast!! But with peanut butter in it too!! Love smoothies
  • I've had to limit myself to 3 meals and one snack a day otherwise I snack all the time. This way I choose carefully. It's really a case of having some discipline with myself, I can't get where I want to be otherwise. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods
